"You, young man, can become a hero!"

I... S-seriously...?

"You are worthy of my power, young man. I choose you to inherit my quirk!" Katsuki lifted up his head, slowly, body shaking in disbelief.

"W-what...?" He choked out.

All Might laughed with hands on hips. "That look of yours is priceless, boy!" He chortled. "But it is merely a suggestion, my boy. First, you have to prove your worth with a test!"

"THIS TEST WILL TELL ME WETHER OR NOT YOU WILL TRY YOUR BEST TO TAKE IN MY POWER!" He boomed as blood trickled down his chin.

"Your power...?"

"My quirk." He lowered his voice down back to a normal level. "Y'know that magazine, 'Friday'? They documented my quirk as just a simple genetic strength inhancer. I normally just dodge the question when asked with jokes and such."

"It wouldn't look good for well proclaimed 'symbol of peace' to be a hack of sorts, not being a 'natural' born hero."

The bright blond rose his head and arms to the sky, proclaiming proudly, "My quirk is a power unlike any other! It is passed from one to another; generation to generation!"

Katsuki furrowed his brows in thought. "So... Its a quirk you can.... Inherit? F-from you?"

All Might nodded his head. "Precisely. And I've chosen you as my successor, the next in line."

"Your... Your kidding..." He mumbled.

"I don't lie, kid." He took in a short deep breath then released it contently. "My power is the ability to transfer power. And the name of that power? One for all."

Katsuki stood there, mouth slightly agape. "One... For all?"

All Might nodded. "The man who first possesses this power then passes it down to another when the time comes, and the cycle continues down the line. Only those who bear devotion in their hearts can burnish this ability."

"Why me then? How do I have any good qualities worth taking your power?" Katsuki doubted himself so much. After all, he did just run into a high risk situation without any thought. "Wouldn't a better candidate be Deku?"

"Dek-who?" All Might titlted his head, confused. "Never mind. Any who, dispute the lack of a quirk, and just a hopeless dreamer, you were the one to show true virtue and heroism; so much more than those other 'heroes'."

Katsuki stood there, not all knowing what to say. A few minutes passed when All Might spoke again, "However, it is your decision. You can take the ti-"

"Yes. I'll do it." This man, the most powerful man in all of Japan— no in the enitre world— had approached him, asking him, to take on his power. All Might of all people thought he was worth it, no, knew he was worth it. How could he reject this offer?

All Might smirked. "Such a persistent reply, eh. Wouldn't of expected anything less from you, my boy!"

A week has passed since All Might's offer. Katsuki had edited his lifestyle, altering it around to fit his new training; the training to inherit One For All. Currently, the symbol of peace had the teenager pulling a decommissioned fridge along a polluted beach. The muscular man sat atop it, adding to the weight of the cooling unit.

"I'M FEELING RATHER RELAXED UP HERE, Y'KNOW! MAYBE IF YOU'D PULL FASTER, I'D FEEL MORE RELAXED! FEEL A NICE BREEZE GO THROUGH MY HAIR!" All Might yelled from the top.
