You know, there's a moment in almost every Wattpad novel that' makes absolutely no sense at all. It's when someone says something to someone else and they see a "flicker of sadness in their eyes" likewhat!?
It's like the authors think that eyes flicker like broken lightbulbs and it's DUMB AS HELL!!
Guy, jokingly: will you marry me?
Girl: Haha no
"Suddenly I saw a flicker of sadness in his eyes for a single millisecond, it was like there was a rainstorm in his soul that represented his sadness over this joke, in this essay I will-"
Guy: lol ok
Surely the author can find another way to show the guys sadness without writing something so dumb.
