Unrealistic relationships.

I'm almost every single romance story I read, the couple goes through many hard challenges to test their love.

But,

Has anyone ever noticed that these "challenges" they go through, are often only from outside forces and not actual problems within the relationship??

Examples:
- the mean girl who's hot for the love interest

-feuding families

-The Evil mother in law

-jealous ex

- perceived "cheating"

It's never the fault of the two in the relationship, it's never because he's too possessive or because she's too dependant it's always outside forces.

Talk about BORING.
