Real Life

Jace has finished his movie so he's home. Everything is going good. Harper is now almost 6 months old. She's so smiley and can say "Dada" not 'mama' yet. Savannah is trying though.

Jace and Savannah have been in a weird place sense he left early to go back filming. They haven't talked about it. They probably should.

"When do babies start to crawl?" Jace ask.

"I don't know. I think anytime between like 6 and 10 months." Savannah answers.

Right now they are looking at Harper who is laying on her stomach. I looks like she's trying to move. She's making noises like she wants to move which makes Jace and Savannah laugh.

"She's so cute." Savannah says. "How did we make something this cute?" Savannah picks Harper off the floor. "Why are you so cute!" Savannah kisses her daughter's cheek making her laugh.

Jace smiles at his two girls. He loves the both a lot. He knows him and Savannah haven't been the same recently and he hopes that changes.

"It's because her mama is so cute." Jace says.

"Nah. It's because her dada is so cute." Savannah says.

"Dada!" Harper says.

"Yes I'm your Dada." Jace says and takes Harper out of Savannah's arms.

Savannah and Jace really need to talk. There's an elephant in the room and both of them can feel it.

"Hey Jace?"

"Yeah?"

"After Harper goes to bed, can we talk?"

"Yeah. Of course."
