I woke up with a pounding headache. I was tied to a metal pole in a pitch black room.  My breathing quickened as I realized what was going on. The light turned on, blinding me for a few seconds. I blinked rapidly while trying to adjust to the light. When I could clearly see, I saw a tall figure appear in the doorway. It was Mark. "Good morning, princess," He said, walking up to me and squatting to my level. "How did you sleep?" I eyed him fearfully. I glanced around the room to see I was in the basement. He chuckled. "Why so scared, kitten? I'm not gonna hurt you unless you give me a reason to." I said nothing. "Where's Sean?" "He's over there," Mark stated, pointing over to the corner. I saw Sean, passed out, bruises covering his arms and face. I gasped. "Oh my god! What did you do?!" I yelled at him. He grabbed my jaw. "Do. Not. Shout. At me." I jerked my face away. He growled under his breath and stood up, turning around and walking over to a table with a few candles on it. He lit all of them. "What the hell is your problem, Mark?!" I said, glaring up at him.

His head perked up at hearing this. "I already told you. Mark. Is. Gone. It's just me now," He said while chuckling. "Mark, seriously, stop! This isn't funny anymore!" I said sternly. He spun around to face me. "I'M NOT MARK! GOD DAMN IT!" He said, his eyes flickering black. He punched the wall, leaving a hole in the drywall. I yelped in surprise. He looked at me, revealing those 2 sharp fangs again. I retaliated in fear as I watched him grin and chuckle. "T-Then who are you?" I said timidly. "Well, my friends call me Damien, but you can call me Dark," He said facing me and chuckling  deeply. "No! You're not real! Mark stop it!" I wasn't able to say anything else because he teleported right in front of me. I let out a shriek. He took my jaw in his hands. "Is that enough proof, princess?" I gulped and nodded.
