(The Next Day)

I woke up in the same chair, in front of the same screen. I blinked rapidly, trying to adjust to the light. I looked down. My arms were covered in bright red welts from the belt, as well as cuts all over my thighs, stomach, and arms. "Damn it," I grunted. The welts had began to really hurt. I tried to pull my arm out from the rope, but to no avail. "Be careful princess. It only makes me hungrier when I see the blood red on your wrists when you struggle." My head perked up as the sound of Dark's voice. He walked into the light. I recoiled back into the chair. "Oh, don't be so paranoid darling," He rolled his eyes and chuckled. Shifting my gaze to the floor, I closed my eyes as he walked over to me. "Open your eyes." I shook my head. "Open. Your. Eyes." I ignored. "I SAID OPEN YOUR GODDAMN EYES!" I jumped, causing me to look up at him. He smirked. "Good pet." "I'm not your FUCKING pet." "Haven't you learned already? I own you. You belong to me." I let out a long sigh.

It felt helpless. It seemed like neither me or Sean would make it out alive. I teared up but blinked back my tears. I was NOT going to let him get the satisfaction of crying in front of him. I watched him cautiously as he untied the ropes, holding his hand out for me to take. I eyed him suspiciously before taking it and standing up. I gasped as he picked me up bridal style and carried me out to the living room. He sat me on the couch before walking over to the kitchen. 'Why is he being nice?!' I thought to myself. Dark poured a cup of water from the faucet and grabbed a packet of crackers from the cabinet. Walking over to me, he handed me the cup and the crackers. "Where is Sean?" "He's in Mark's recording room. I'll get him here in a few minutes." I nodded. At least Sean was still alive.

I devoured the crackers and chugged the glass of water before setting it down on the coffee table. Dark walked down the hallway. After a few seconds of heavy footsteps slowly fading away, I stood up, pacing back and forth. 'What's with this shift in behavior? Is Mark coming back? Am I ever gonna see him again?!' My mind raced with a thousand questions. 'Am I going crazy?' I stopped in my tracks. Was I? It felt like a bad dream I would never wake up from. Is there anyway out?! I was interrupted with my inner monologue when I saw Dark walk back in the living room, Sean following behind him. "Oh my god," I muttered before running up to him, jumping into his arms. "I'm so glad you're okay!" "I am too, (Y/N). Let me look at you." He examined my arms and legs. "Holy shit." Sean looked in Dark's direction and glared at him. Dark had the exact same look.

I cleared my throat to break the tension. "I'm fine. Are you alright?" Sean nodded. "He hasn't...done anything to me yet. Even so, he won't be messing with you so I'll be perfectly fine." I heard Dark growl softly under his breath. Was he changing? Hopefully Mark was slowly making his way back. "Dark, please, get him something to drink and eat." I pleaded. He rolled his eyes, but obliged. We watched Dark walk into the kitchen before sitting next to each other on the couch. "How are we gonna get out of here?" Sean whispered, turning to face me. "We can't just leave Mark. He's our best friend." "Yeah, but if we stay here, we're gonna die." Dark walked over to us. "Here," He said before shoving the plate of crackers and water into his hands. "Take it."
