"I'm so excited to meet her!" Lettie let out a squeal of excitement as she ran hand in hand with Anne and Iris down the hallway toward the ballroom, the rest of the circus following close behind.

"This is going to be amazing!" Anne joined in with a giant smile on her face.

Iris wasn't as excited as the others, she was only thinking about the embarrassment and anger she felt from the situation earlier with Phillip. She put on a fake smile around the rest of the group because she did not want to put a damper on the happiness of the mood.

"Woah woah woah, guys!" Phineas said quickly as he placed his arm in front of the doors blocking the group from entering the ballroom. "Don't you guys have a show in an hour?"

"Yea, that gives us enough time for about 3 drinks!" Lettie let out with a laugh trying to push passed Mr. Barnum who stood still in his place, not letting any of them pass.

"Lettie." Barnum said stopping Lettie from passing him.

"What?"

"It's very crowded in here, k? And I can't have you mingling." Lettie once again tried to push passed Phineas. "Guys, who's gonna pay admission if you're out there for all the world to see." He finished slamming the door in Lettie's face.

"He's ashamed of us." Iris choked out behind tears.

Lettie turned to make eye contact with Iris and Anne with tears welling in her eyes. Iris took Lettie's hand as a tear rolled down her left cheek.

"I am not a stranger to the dark, hide away they say, cause we don't want your broken parts.

I've learned to be ashamed of all my scars, run away, they say, no one will love you as you are." Lettie began looking forward ahead as she began leading the group down the hallway.

"But I won't let them break me down to dust, I know that there's a place for us, for we are glorious." Lettie continued, giving Iris a soft smile through the tears in her eyes.

"When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out I am brave, I am bruised, I am who I'm meant to be, this is me" Iris added in a little more aggressively than Lettie had been, the events with Phillip still resting in her head. She was brave, and she was bruised, but that's who she was. And she loved herself the way she was.

"Look out 'cause here I come, And I'm marching on to the beat I drum. I'm not scared to be seen. I make no apologies, this is me" Lettie and Iris sang together as they led the group outside onto the streets, still hand in hand.

"Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh, oh"

"Another round of bullets hits my skin, Well, fire away 'cause today, I won't let the shame sink in" Charles sang grabbing Iris' hand. He looked up at the two girls standing above him.

"We are bursting through the barricades and
reaching for the sun (we are warriors)
Yeah, that's what we've become (yeah, that's what we've become)" Lettie continued. The group follows Lettie as she marched toward the protestors outside of the Circus. They were to show the haters who they were and no matter how much they put them down, they were gonna rise above and love themselves. No matter what.

"I won't let them break me down to dust, I know that there's a place for us. For we are glorious" Iris sang out, holding out the last note longer. The group ran into the circus, ready to perform their show for the night.

"When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised, I am who I'm meant to be, this is me." Iris spotted Phillip in the top window looking down over the pit where they were performing. She kept eye contact through that entire verse. Showing him exactly 'this is who i'm meant to be, this is me.'

"Look out 'cause here I come, And I'm marching on to the beat I drum, I'm not scared to be seen, I make no apologies, this is me."

"Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh, oh.
This is me"

"And I know that I deserve your love
(Oh-oh-oh-oh) 'cause there's nothing I'm not worthy of (Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh, oh)"

In that moment it was almost in slow motion. Iris looked around her as she sang, and realized how much the crowd love her, and for the way she was. Along with the rest of the circus. She never felt this way before in her life. Tears began spilling down her cheeks as she sang.

"When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
This is brave, this is proof, This is who I'm meant to be, this is me"

"Look out 'cause here I come (look out 'cause here I come) And I'm marching on to the beat I drum (marching on, marching, marching on)
I'm not scared to be seen, I make no apologies, this is me."

"When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I'm gonna send a flood, Gonna drown them out, Oh." Iris and Lettie belched out for the end of the song. Iris, Anne and Lettie stood front and center before everyone, holding each other's hands, standing strong before everyone. Whether they accepted them or not. This was them. And they were proud of it.

"This is me."
