He's beautiful. His eyes shining bright when he explains things. The way his freckles just go so well will his formal attire, and how he cares for kids, and me. Not only that but he's fit, like he exercises or something. And his personality is amazing as well, his smartness going so well with his sweetness. His nerdy attire and smart vocabulary, and his need to take care of his family. I think, I think I might, like him? I don't know, that kiss that happened like a week ago has been causing me to think too much lately, about everything.

"Is there something on my face?" Logan asked me, I must have been staring at him for too long. I shook my head no, feeling embarrassed for staring at him.

I looked over at the others sitting in the room. Mary was occupied with her kids, Logan was still looking at me, and Roman and Virgil were now looking at me. It was currently New Years Eve, but Mary didn't want to have too many people over. Roman's parents were throwing a party with other adults, and Virgil's parents are going to that party, so everyone came here. Knowing my family they're probably all at home, everyone in a different room. My brothers will be up at three, and my parents will be off to bed at midnight.

"Well, is there?" Logan asked, wiping at his lips. He had been eating a cupcake, and until now I hadn't realized that there was actually something on his face.

"Yeah, actually you do." I stood up to grab a napkin, placing one hand on his cheek and wiping the frosting off his nose. And that was when I understood how stupid I was for doing that!

"Awww." I heard Roman and Virgil say in union. "I-I'm sorry!" I told him. I ran into the kitchen to throw away the napkin and hide from embarrassment. I looked over into the living room and saw Logan scowling at the two for some reason before he got up and came into the kitchen.

"You don't have to apologize just for getting something off my face, I bet I looked like a complete idiot with frosting on my nose." He said with a bit of a chuckle.  "Not really, it was pretty cute. L-Like in a child like way." I just couldn't stop embarrassing myself now could I?

"Falsehood. I'm not cute, nor will I ever be." After he said that, I pushed all embarrassment away, and decided to tease him. "That is the biggest lie I have ever heard you say." I told him. His face went sightly pink but it didn't effect him too much. "You are adorable. No matter what you say, I think you are." I booped his nose and then left the kitchen.

"That's because you think everyone is adorable." He said when he caught up to me. "That's not true, you know very well that prison guards scare me, and they aren't adorable." We were both sitting by now.

"Prison guards do, but not the prisoners? Why is that?" Logan questioned. "The prisoners are just misunderstood. They need love, not sever punishment." I explained to him. He simply chuckled.

An hour had passed and everyone was counting down to midnight. Logan and I were walking into the living room again when it struck midnight. We stopped under the doorway to see Isabella and Thomas hugging, Roman kissed Virgil's cheek, and then pointed to us.

"You two have to kiss." Roman told us with a smirk. "And w-why is that?" I asked. Both our faces had turned red. "Because it just struck midnight and you're standing under the mistletoe."

"It's a double sign that you have to kiss." Virgil added. "I saw that coming, one of the main reasons I put the mistletoe under the doorway this year." I heard Mary whisper to Roman. Logan clearly didn't hear it, but he was pondering on what to do.

"You don't have to kiss me, it's fine." I told Logan. But before either of us could protest anymore Logan kissed me. I could get used to this to be honest. But I knew it was all because of the mistletoe.
