A month has passed and school hadn't changed, same old things over and over again. It was just a cycle that everybody goes through. Same format but different topics through each lesson. By now, (Y/n) and I were really close.

Jimin started to act weird at times, like pulling out his phone and texted or searched something up every time I was talking to (y/n). He also held his phone weird, but I just assumed he was messing around, it didn't mind me much anyways.

"Is everybody here today?" Teacher Park called out lazily. Taehyung lifts his hand and gets called on.

"Taehyung, who is missing?" He types into his computer, counting up lunches and absences.

"Dahyun is not here." I see Jimin tense at the name but quickly relaxes. I look at him with a concerned frown.

"You okay, Jimin?" I whisper. He nods and looks away quickly, back to his work on the desk.

Teacher Park sighs and rubs his forehead with his hand. "Taehyung, there is no Dahyun. Nice joke, ha. Ha. Ha." He gives a dry laugh. The days have been gloomy this week and everybody was tired. The rest of the class gives a real laugh.

(Y/n) just sighs, I could just imagine her rolling her eyes. "Yeah, so funny! Good one Tae. How about for an encore of you missing this class?" She mumbles under her breath and I bite back a laugh.

Taehyung looks proud at his joke. Jimin looks furious and the class room was dark—despite the lights on the ceiling—with the clouds shadowing the sun. The class starts.

Last class was about to start. (Y/n) wasn't her new self all day today. She was first-day-cold personality. She took my sandwich at lunch with a small thank you, her makeup was more complex than ever. She never referred to me as oppa, in fact, she would only get my attention by saying: Yah.

I couldn't get in the time to ask her what's wrong, but, now I'm making it.

(Y/n)'s eyes were dull and had no real color, as if it was a doll. She looked stiff and tired as if she stayed up all night. "Yah, are you okay?" I stop her outside of the classroom.

She gives me a well known glare that I thought I would never see again. "Yeah, just fine and dandy." She turns to enter the classroom. I grab her wrist gently and stopped her. (Y/n) tenses and swivels back towards me.

"What's really wrong?" I press on, not satisfied with her sarcasm. Another glare.

"Look, I just had a bad night, okay. The bed decided to be lumpy with sharp knives. So I guessed a cold floor would be better." She shortly responds. (Y/n) rips her wrist from my hand, colliding with a broad chest. Her face was coated with shock. "Sorry, Seokjin." She does a quick bow. The odd thing was, even after the interaction, he doesn't acknowledge her.

"Ahh!" Jin holds his chest where he got punched. "I have a sudden pain, like a pinch of my heart. Do hate it when it does that, Namjoonie?" He looks over her and straight at me.

"Sure, I so do." I chuckle awkwardly. I follow him in, (y/n) trailing behind me. (Y/n) sits behind me in all of our classes. I turn to her but she had her head down. I decide to leave her alone so she can rest. I couldn't focus on the poems we were reading, only thinking about why everybody was avoiding (y/n).

"Namjoon." Teacher Lee calles on me with a light voice. I look up at her with shock. "Please tell us what the poem was about." She only called on me because I was zoning out. (Y/n) leans in and whispers in my ear.

"The river didn't want the snowflakes to suffer in it's violent current. It tried to change courses but the snowflakes still fell to their demise. So, in order to save them, it started to freeze from the edges of the river bank to catch the falling innocents." She leans back out and leaves me feeling suddenly cold.
