Part 6- Surprise!

I began to rise up as Gaia quickly tackled me from behind, "AHHHH I GOT YOU!" She yelled as she playfully began to punch your scales. "Tired are we?" You asked as you turned to Mother Nature. She nodded in reply and began to stand up and walk away. "Thanks for the fun (D/N), but I'm throwing in the towel. I hope to see you again soon." Gaia said as she began to sink into the earth. You began to chuckle as you mutter under your breath, "Stay safe Gaia..." just then you felt a hand tap you from behind and the same girl ask, "I hope you haven't forgotten about me honey~" you turn your head to see the girl do a small curtsy. "I am Ophis, infinite dragon god and rightful ruler of the dimensional gap, and you must be the great dragon of time, or (D/N) as Gaia just called you." You leaned your head down and gazed at her, "The pleasure is mine Ophise, but I expected to meet a women, not a toddler."

"Let it be known that you're only making this harder for yourself my insulting me." Ophis replied with a huff. "My apologies," you bow your head, "But I think the entity was wrong in the first place. Just from your scent I can tell that even if we were to become mates, you would not survive the ordeal." Ophis giggled and placed her hand on your scales, "But you also understand that it must be done, or the fate of all dragonkin may cease to exist." She explained. You turned to the small dragon girl, raised an eyebrow and asked, "And what is that supposed to mean child?" Ophis looked at you puzzled, "It didn't tell you?" She asked

"After the light died, we lost the ability to create pure dragons from nothing. So now we must keep our lineage safe and certain. That's the whole reason you came here isn't it?" Ophis explained. You're jaw fell once she finished and after regaining your composure you looked at Ophis and said, "I came here because it told me to, I was never informed of the situation you were in..." Ophis smirked and chirped in by adding, "Don't you mean the situation 'we're' in?" You gazed around and watched as the devils all had there eyes locked onto the two of you. "May we go somewhere more private Ophis?" You ask. The dragon then turns around and notices the crowd watching the two of you. She turns back to you and nods as you open up a portal for the two of you.

     After entering the portal you stared out at the stars that littered the sky of this distant planet you arrived on. You turned around to see Ophis walking out and closing the portal behind her, "Jeez (D/N) you didn't even thank them for helping you out?" You chuckled, then turned your attention to the stars. After a few moments of silence you ask, "So, do you actually seek me as a real mate, or do you just want my seed..." Ophis slowly walks up next to you and leans on your wing, "Well I've heard the tales of your great feats, and I have to say I'm impressed. But I'll answer your question if you prove it to me.." You look down at her puzzled, "What is there to prove?" You ask. Ophis looks up at you and scoffs, "If you're really as strong as they say you are, or if you're just a poser."

     You immediately dash to the air and raise your claw towards the stars. A dark purple essence begins to encircle your arm as you let out a booming cry, "BEHOLD THE GLORY OF A NEW SUN!" And as the words leave your lips, a star begins to form above the two of you, until the sky now shines bright. You crash down beside the infinite dragon god as she stands there, emotionless and staring at the new sun, "So the legends were true.." You quickly shift to your human form and levitate beside her with your legs cross in the air while you lean back. "Now it your turn to hold up the bargain" I say. Ophis looks to her left and sees you in your human form and scoffs, "I thought you'd look better..." you look away from her reply, "And I thought you'd look older than 12 but we cannot all get what we wish. Now answer the question welp."

     She lets out a sigh and grabs your cheeks, making you look at her, "I think it would be adequate for the two most powerful dragons to become one, don't you think?" She asks, while moving a bit closer. Letting out a sigh you take a step back, "I do agree with you on that Ophis, but....you would die in your current state if we were to mate....and that doesn't even cover the problem that we are unable to since I know nothing of your secrets or what they are." Ophis points at your face and exclaims, "THEN TRAIN ME SO I MAY HAVE OUR CHILDREN (D/N)." This bold statement staggered you as you took a step back. Quickly regaining your composure, but with a blush still plastered on your face you looked to Ophis and answered, "Fine...but you must promise me something.." Ophis looked at you and tilted her head slightly. "Promise me that once this is all done, you won't leave...I made a vow many eons ago that my first mate will be my last." Ophis stood there for a moment before quickly dashing to you. She jumped into your chest, locking her legs around your back and kissing you.

     Your eyes shot open as all this happened to fast to process. You felt her tongue begin to creep it's way into your mouth and you understood what was truly happening. Wrapping your arms around her back, you met her tongue with yours and you felt her magic flow through your soul. After a few minutes the two of you separated and Ophis stared at you. "So what made you do that?" You ask as she climbed down. "Fear" she replied, "Fear that someone else will take you before I get a chance." She began to blush slightly and looked away, "So I thought I might as well just mark you as mine for now.." she finished explaining. You sighed and looked to your hand to see her magic seal glowing upon your hand. The seal itself had the picture of a dragon with many different people surrounding it, including her current human form. Then you looked up to see your seal was placed below Ophis' collarbone. Your seal showed thousands of stars and many different lines that branches throughout them.

     You sigh and close your eyes, "Well I guess there's no turning back now since we're officially mates..." Ophis nodded and sat down beside you, "Now all we have to do is get stronger so we can solidify our love by bearing children." Looking down at her you nodded, then returned your gaze to the newly formed sun. After a few moments you sighed and lifted your hand, "I don't like it." You closed the palm of your hand and the sun began to shrink at rapid rates before letting out a magnificent explosion. Ophis smiles and shook her head, "Honey, when will you ever stop."

     "When time decides to do the same..."
