Harleys News pt. 2

Me and Austin walked through the doors and saw Michele putting groceries away. Harley and Alex walked downstairs and I told her that we need to talk in the living room. we were all sitting down around each other but I made sure Harley and Alex told the official news. "okay Michele, um Harley and Alex have to give you some news." "mom, I don't know how your gonna take this but I hope your happy about it. um I'm... I'm pregnant." her eyes got wide. "what!? my 15 year old daughter, pregnant!?" "mom I don't even know how but at least the dad is someone you know." "Alex!? you!" "yes ma'am." Austin got up and left the house. "is he okay?" "he didn't know either." "well.. I'm happy that I'm gonna be a grandmother but you have school and stuff." "can we discuss this later like after dinner?" "yeah sure. well I'm glad the dads you Alex." "yeah me too." I got up and told them I'm gonna check on Austin. I walked outside and saw him shooting basketball. he missed and the ball came right to me. I caught it and shot. I made it. "Nothin but net!" I smiled and he kept shooting. "babe, I get your not too happy about this but you still need to be there for her and show her support." "look I understand that but my little sister.. pregnant.. by my best friend." he sat on the ground against the garage door and I sat down beside him and put my head in his shoulder and arm around his. "I know. it feels like he betrayed you doesn't it?" "it feels like something." "well you can't stop it now. I mean your lucky she isn't pregnant by a freaking drug dealer or something." he smirked and said yeah. I smiled and looked at him. "babe, what if you got me pregnant? what would you do?" "I would be right by your side everyday, every minute, I would give you respect, support, and lots of love. I would do everything possible to make sure my beautiful girlfriend and soon to be son or daughter had everything they needed to be happy." "aww!" I smiled and he kissed me. "I love you." "I love you too Austin." we heard the door open and close and it was Alex. I got up and went inside so they could talk. I saw Harley and her mom having a conversation so I went upstairs to see if I left anything in Harleys room. I went back downstairs and told Harley I'd text her later and left.

~Austins Pov~

Harley, my little sister is pregnant! she has her whole life ahead of her. 15 years old and she's gonna have a baby before she's 16 or right when she turns 16. this is just something I never thought would happen. I guess its good that the baby daddy is Alex but I mean I can't believe my best friend would do that to my sister. well its better than a drug dealer I guess. me and Mariah just finished talking and Alex came out. "hey man. can we talk?" "yeah sure." "listen, I have no idea how this happened. but I promise I will be there for Harley, the baby, you, just I'll do everything I can possibly do to make y'all happy with me." "thanks dude." we hugged and I shot the basketball. "wanna play?" he was walking around in circles and said no. "you okay?" "I'm scared." "why? your gonna be a good father." "so.. im 16, I want to finish high school, go to college, get a good job, find a house or apartment. I can't do that with a kid to take care of. what is my mom gonna say when I tell her?" "its okay. look the baby isn't even close to being here. you have all the time you need right now. just take deep breathes and stay calm you don't want Harley to worry." "yeah true. thanks man, and I hope you're not mad." "no I'm not mad. as long as she's happy and your happy, I'll be happy with it." "thanks." "alright let's play!" we played some basketball and Mariah came out the door. "I'll text you guys later." "okay. bye." we kept playing until about 3:30 and he went home. I walked inside and my mom was making tacos. "yum!" "they'll be ready in about 5 minuets." I walked to the living room and turned on MTV. ridiculousness was on. "Harley, I hope you know, I'm not mad about this." "then why'd you leave?" "because I was upset at first." "its okay and thanks." "you're welcome." my mom brought us our food and we ate.

I walked inside and saw Blake making spaghetti. "let me guess moms not home?" "yeah." "don't poison us okay!" "I'll try not to." I laughed and sat at the table and got on Facebook on my phone. Harley posted a status about her having a baby, Alex, Austin and me. I liked it. "Harley's pregnant." "are you serious!" "yeah. that's why I was over there." "wow. ain't she like 15?" "yeah." "that's just.. wow!" "yeah I know." I got off and walked upstairs. I was channel surfing when I got a phone call.

M: hello?

D: hey. are you busy?

M: no you okay?

D: yeah I'm fine. um I was thinking about coming back down.

M: really when?

D: like next weekend.

M: yay! dad I can't wait to see you.. and you might have a chance to change moms mind.

D: oh yeah her and that new guy.. I'll see what I can do.

M: yay!

I heard Blake call me down for dinner.

M: dad I gotta go eat.

D: okay bye love you.

M: love you too.

I walked downstairs and sat at the table. we all started to eat when my mom walked in. "well thank you so much for the date. it was wonderful. best date I've had in years. I'll text you tomorrow. bye." she walked in the kitchen and saw us eating. "hey did Blake cook?" "yep." he said. "well sorry I came home later than planned." we kept eating. "look, I really don't see what's wrong with me going on a date. what is wrong with y'all?" I got up and went to my room. I can't wait for next weekend. I took a shower, got dressed, blow dried and straightened my hair, then went to bed. school better be easy tomorrow.
