"Well your Highness, don't you think that it is a good opportunity?" Lord Prenter said to the Queen at the council, the other members in attendance nodding at the plan. John watched intently for the Black Queen's response, hoping to any God Above that he would object to the ridiculous idea. Going to War with the Willow Green. How could anyone think that was a good plan of action? The kingdom had never done anything directly to provoke The City of the Fireflies, and John knew that The Black Queen and The White Queen, The Willow Green's ruler, had even grown up together.
But, The Black Queen was rather... Easily manipulated by the Lords that he called his friends. John watched as the Queen twirled around with some of his long Ebony hair, seeming deeply concentrated at the proposition. Lord Prenter cleared his throat and spoke again.
"I mean, he gets on your nerves, doesn't he? Also, his country has quite the plentiful resources.." The listening Queen closed his eyes for a second before opening them and focusing his gaze on the Lord."I suppose you do have a point, Paul." The Queen then sat up from the slumped position he was sat in, and looked at his court.
"You are all dismissed. I will think about this in the meantime." and with a flick of his wrist wishing everyone away, The Queen stood up and walked out of the courtroom. People started to file out after him, looking to go their separate ways in the castle, and to their own parts of the Kingdom on the lonely island. But, no one was out the door quicker than John, who sped after the queen and his loud footsteps going down the hall."Freddie, wait!" John half yelled, running after the Queen at this point.
But The Black Queen held a steady March, effectively avoiding John for a while. With feet pounding down the hall and a fear eating at his stomach, John finally reached the Queen, and grabbed his hand. The servant felt The Queen's muscles tense under his grasp, but he slowed his walk, eventually to a stop. John breathed heavily, from all the running, and from the slight fear of how his Queen would react. The Queen slowly turned around, with a look John couldn't quite place in his eyes. He actually looked quite annoyed, and John would've playfully laughed at this, in another place and at another time.
"Yes, John?" He quickly said, almost shooting daggers by his glare. John swallowed some of his fear, and stepped closer to the Queen.
"Do you mean it?" He whispered, ignoring the Queen's glare and looking deep into his eyes.
The older man closed his eyes and sighed deeply, turning his head as well.
"Well, of course I mean it, John. Paul has a very good point, if I want my Kingdom to thrive, we need more power.. I want the best for my citizens, and this is the easiest way to do it."You're just trying to please your friends, Fred! John wanted to scream at The Queen, but he didn't. I have to reason with him.. John thought, and he searched his mind for a good argument to convince The Queen.
He then cried, "But you and Brian were practically brothers, Fred. You can't do this to him.. It's just awful!" this sentence showed more emotion than he wanted to convey. The black haired man cringed at the mention of The White Queen's real name."Just, John.. Please, shut up and don't make me regret this." The Black Queen said, shaking his head slightly and stepping away from John.
"But Freddie, that's what I'm trying to do! You can't d-" and with that, the servant was silenced with a kiss as deep and dark as the night sky, but with as much need as the beggars on Rhye's streets. John closed his eyes and melted into the kiss after some initial shock of The Queen's action, finding it somewhat amusing at The Black Queen's attempt to shut him up. Well, it worked. After a while of desperate amounts of passion from both ends, The Queen pulled away.
"John... Just don't get involved." and with that, the Black Queen kissed John again, this time pushing the servant into his bed chambers.

Slam! Roger dodged the large palm slapping against the dirt ground next to him, sending a large vibration through the stadium. The Ogre growled and focused one great big eye on the Blonde haired man, who was already standing up again with his sword in a battle stance. The ogre made a slow grab at Roger, who quickly slid under his hand and charged at the creature with amazing speed, raising his sword to make a blow at the giant. Roger's hair whipped past him as he came to a stop. He pulled back his weapon and slashed it across the Ogre's face and made a deep, red gash where the blade hit. The monster's eye flashed with rage as it gave a great big cry, the force of which sending Roger back several feet and making him fall to the ground.
