Regulas's POV:
I crept out into the night after meeting up with Adelaide. I didn't like her. I liked Suzanne medalsa in my year. The only reason I went out with her was cause' I wanted to make my so-called brother jealous. I was actually planning on meeting Suzanne.
" Hey Reg" Suzie said to me winking. She trailed her hands down my chest while I smirked. We began kissing. Just as I turned I saw someone. A glimpse of blood-red lips, ghost-white skin, blue glazed eyes and gold hair. Adelaide. I just smirked and continued playing with Suzie. I never wanted Adelaide anyways.
Adelaide's POV:
Tears threatened to fall as, as a cat, I sat beneath a tree. Just then a familiar dog came to me as I cried. I became a human as the dog became Sirius. " I won't go out with you or anyone!" I broke out quickly. I didn't REALLY love Regulas. I just thought he loved me. Love hurt to much and I wasn't about to make the same mistake as last time.
" Lemme guess. My ignorant, stupid, brainless, goat-like, dum as a sheep, brainless, hairy, ugly..." Sirius rambled on. " Just be quiet" I murmured, crystal-like tears streaming down my pale face.
" Adela I would NEVER break your heart. I knowMarlene also known as Mary, Lily and Alice told you I am untrustworthy. But I changed. I don't tease first-years or play pranks or anything" Sirius begged. I looked at him with a steely expression.
" I will not fall in love again Black. I have had enough of it. You know, I thought there was such thing as ' LOVE' but you know what? There isn't. You and your brother are just the same. You just lkure girls with your charming looks, then toy with them. I'm just another one of your victems so if you ever ask me out then the answer is no. I know not to trust love. It is just a stupid thing that is in peoples imagination. Marlene and Benjy go out and so do Alice and Frank. There may be love for them but not for me. Love is just not made for me so sorry but the answer will always be no" I screamed tears falling quickly.
" I don't care about anything anymore!!!!" I sobbed. I jumped into the lake and let myself sink.
Sirius's POV:
I waited for my love to resurface still a little shocked by her speech. I truly cared for her. I looked across the grounds. I saw Lily and Jams kissing. I smiled for a second before remebering what I was trying to do. I couldn't swim!
" JAMES! LILY! ADELA JUMPED IN AND I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING! SHEIS NOT CONMING UP AND.." Before I could finish Lily and James were helping me. A cold and almost frozen Adelaide was pulled out. We rushed too the hospital wing were Madam Pomfrey treated her hurriedly.
That night I sat in the chair and thought over her words and heractions. Regulas would die tommorow.
