Sirius Black's POV:
" Sirius!" James whined. " I want Waves so I will stop the pranks!" I said stubbornly. " Okay!" James finally gave in to me. " Now lets ask them out in a week and see if it has some effects on them" I said to my buddy as he looked in jealousy at snivellus and lily walk together, Lily laughing. Then it was MY turn to be jealous as Adelaide laughed with Regulas, my irritating brother. I let out a small growl as he took her hand. She was falling in love with him! " Yes. I will go with you" I heard her say. She was going to hogsmeade with Regulas!!!???
" What!!??" I hissed to James who was laughing. " She and Lily are ayear younger than us so it is okay cause' their the same age. Lily and Adelaide were just too smart so they skipped a year" James reminded me. " I still can't believe your only chasing them two girls when every other girl is begging you to take you out" Remus scoffed. " Shut up Moony" I said in a grouchy mood. "We can go to today's hogsmeade trip together?" Offered Peter. " Yeah...." I agreed, a plan forming in my mnd.
" Lets do one thing first though. I want to find out how long my so-called brother has been with Waves for." I said. " Right you are" James agreed. " I know a way" Peter piped up. " What?"We all asked including Moony. " Genius Wormtail" I exclaimed. Wormy blushed with pleasre. R" But i don't want to use that mind spell" Remus said. " Just do the spell. Remember it makes you able to look through her memories without causing her pain." I added.
Then Moony did te spell. We waited anxiously. Just then he turned deathly white. " What?" I asked anxiously. Moony didn't answer. Then the spell wore off. Remus turned and began to walk away. " Hey Remus. What did you see/" James demanded as we caught up with him. " i don't think you want to know!!" Remus said nervously. " Tell me" I roared at him. " They have been together for two years and theyv'e kissed.....alot." Remus said hurrying off. I stood dumbstruck.
That afternoon, when we went to hogsmeade we sat in the three broomsticks. " Give me some ti e alone" I said shortly turning and walking behid the shrieking shrack. Just then I hid behind a bushand what I saw sickened me. Regulas was kissing Adelaide. I winced as she pulled him closer. He smiled and flashed a dazzling smile at her. I frowned as it worked He brought her closer to him. I turned and fled.
I would KILL Regulas. I turned aand stormed back to hogwarts. That night I lay in the gryfindorr common room thinking, what if Regulas broke her heart? Would she ever trust anyone anymore? Would she forget love?
" Night Padfoot" James yawned
" Night Padfoot" Peter said.
" Goodnight Padfoot" Mumbled Remus.
" Night" I said sadly.
" And Padfoot. Adelaide is not really worth all of this so forget her" James added.
