This chapter will be written in 3rd person and forgive me for skipping bits. This story is my first fanfic so sorry if it isn't up to your standards but it would help if I got votes!

Adelaide Waves hopped impatiently from one foot to the other.
" MUM!" she called her clear sweet voice wringing through the house. Her gold hair shining brightly when the sun fell on it and the singular white stripe running through it clearly standing out. Her beautiful, sea-blue eyes scanned the room for signs of her father and mother coming to take her to diagon alley.
Her hogwarts letter came only a month ago and it was nearly September. Her family was pure-blood and she had no siblings. " Adelaide!" Her mother scolded when she jumped into the car treading on her mums shoe. " Sorry!" She screamed back. Laughing, her parents drove to Diagon Alley. When they arrived Adelaide gasped in wonder.
" Mum, were lost" A small voice sobbed. Adelaide turned to find a girl with green eyes and red hair. She had small tears running down her pale face as her flustered parents looked around in panic. " Um. We could help. I'm Joy and this is Archie. We know our way and were buying supplies for Adelaide" Joy offered to the parents who accepted gladly.
" I'm Adelaide" Adelaide said politely. " Lily" Lily said shyly. The two talked and became the best of friends as they travelled from stoe to store. Soon they went in for wands.
" Willow, supple,Dragon core 10 inches" said to Ollivander to Lily. Then he handed the right wand to Adelaide and said nonchalantly though he was excited " 7 inches, willow, supple, and felix felicis core:". The girls gave their wands to their mothers and promised to write to one another before Adelaide's motherexclaimed
" Pets!" quickly They had forgotten pets! Laughing they went to the pet store. The girls an around exclaiming. Lily finally decided on a snowy white owl which she called Sweet and Adelaide decided on a white kitten which she called Snow White. The girs laughed as they hrried outside clutching their supplies.
" This was fun!" Adelaide said sadly. " We can come early to the station!" Lily screamed before leaving with her parents. " That was exciting!" Joy said with a chuckle as they set off home. Adelaide trudged along sad to see her best new friend leave.

" Adelaide!" Lily squealed hugging her friend in the scarlet engine in a compartment with Severus Snape, a black haired boy and another one with black hair. Adelaide sat looking out the window. Suddenly while Lily talked with Severus, she fell asleep. Her eyes fluttered shut and she wasout like a light.
laughter echoed around. Adelaide awoke too find the boy imitating Lily's lofty voice. " That was mean!" She said to the boys with her hands on her hips. " No. Right james?" One boyteased. " Right Sirius!" The other agreed. Shooting a dirty look in their way, Adelaide turned and stared at the window. " So that Lily is your friend girl?" Sirius asked. " It's Adelaide and yes" She replied annoyed. Just then, the train stopped at hogwarts.

" Gryfindorr" The hat screamed. Lily clambered off the stool and headed towards the Gryfindorrs and sat next to Sirius and James. " Waves Adelaide" Minerva Mcgonnagel called out loudly. Adelaide slowly walked to the stool and sat on it placing the hat o her head.
No sooner than it touched her golden head had the hat started alking. " Brave as the lions but as smart asthe raven. Much too sly like a snake but as loyal as a badger. I know. PHOENIX!" The hat called. The hall started talking. Everyone stared at the girl who had golden hair, clear sea-blue eyes, vampire white skin and blood-red lips. Her radiance lit up the room and her elegance stood out.
" Calm down. Phoenix is just when the person who is sorted is good enough for any house so they are i my house. Phoenix. It just means there common room is next to mine and they have extremely powerful magic!" Dumbledore called out to the frenzied crowd. Itstopped. " let the feast continue!" Dumbledore said and beckoned to Adelaide.She slowly made her way to him.
" You, Adelaide, can create a shield with your mind and do many spells without your wand which is why your in Phoenix. The house clours are purple and gold and you will sleep in a room next too mine. You do normal classes but youhave an extra two classes with me each day to work on your mental magic." Dumbledore said kindly.
Soon, it was night time and Adelaide fell asleep in a minute.
