Assignment : Grade School Class Photo
"Wooh, alam mo bang parang binagyo ang buong bahay namin just to find these old stuffs. Ang tagal tagal na din kasi ng mga pictures na to, pero alam ko hindi to itinapon kasi naman mahalaga para sakin to."
"Patingin nga" sabay abot ko nung mga lumang class pictures ko noon.
"Hanapin mo nga kung nasaan ako dyan? Sige nga kung kaya mo"
"It's you. Right?" pointing one of the boy from the back
"Wow! Bilib na talaga ako sayo. Paano mo nalaman na ako yun?"
"Nothing. You two look the same."
Narinig ko pa siyang bumulong "Wala ka paring pinagbago"
"Ano yun?"
"Hah? Wala yun"
"Kilala mo pa ba ang mga classmates mo noon?"
"Yung iba nakalimutan ko na. Pero may mangilangilan na hindi ko pwedeng kalimutan"
"Like who?"
"Do you see this girl. She's the one I'm referring to. Back then, I was a brat. I bullied all my classmates. I had this chance to make all my girl classmates cry, except..
this girl, I bullied and teased her everytime. Telling her how ugly she is. But then she never said a word. She just smile, give me her sweetest smile.
That smile I will never forget. The girl who stole my heart with just a single smile. You know she's so pretty and I'll admit I admired her back then.
From that day, I never bullied her again and I never talk to her anymore. Until one day, she didn't attend class.
My teacher told us about her leaving. Her family migrates to Cebu. I was so sad that day, I never had this chance to say how sorry I am for what I did before. And forgots to say that I like her.
It's too late. I know it's too late"
"No. it's not too late"
"What are you talking about?"
"Nothing. I'm just telling you that things happen for a reason. tsk Nevermind"
"Well, I have to go. Your assignment for tomorrow, M-mm
Bye! See you tomorrow"
And then she walked away.
