Chapter two

Dear Diary,

I know it was wrong to sleep with Asher. But it's hard to explain what made me do it. I hadn't even met Asher when we came to Argentina, but then I did, and I don't know what came over me. The chilling urge to be with him over took me, and I guess I acted on it. I shouldn't have acted on it, I know, but I couldn't resist him. His stunning good looks, with black hair and stone cold blue eyes. It just...I don't know.

I think I love him.

That's crazy right? How can I love someone I just met when I thought that I loved Mich a week ago?

Oh god, MICH.

I can never tell him. Never. He would be so devasted with what I had done, he would do something crazy. He would react with his instincts, and his instincts weren't always the smartest. Don't get me wrong, he IS smart, and funny, and cute...and a week ago I thought he was the perfect guy for me.

But last night, I guess I proved myself wrong.

"I should probably go now..." I said almost in a whisper. The reality of what I had just done, overcame my longing to be with Asher. I had to leave, I had to get out of here. I had to go see my friends and Mich...

"Please don't." Asher frowned, and pulled me closer to him.

"No. I have to leave, my friends are expecting me." Hopefully, by saying friends, I hoped he knew I meant 'boyfriend.'

His lips grazed my ear, and it sent a shiver done my spine. "You need to see your boyfriend." His voice was apologetic.

I nodded sadly. "He...is expecting me. So are my friends, we're going shopping in the marketplace."

He let go of me, and rolled onto his back. "Go. You have things to do."

I sighed, and reached for him. "I don't want to leave, you know how much you mean to me..." my voice trailed off.

"Do I?"

I was stunned that I would have to explain this to him. "After what we just did, how could you not know how much I care about you?"

He laughed softly. "I know. I'm just being an insecure boy. Don't pay any attention to it."

My hand reached up to his hair, and I pushed it out of his eyes. "Mich would never admit to something like that."

He stared at me under his thick eyelashes. "Can we please not talk about him?"

I nodded, and then bit my lip. "I honestly have to go." Without waiting for an answer, I rolled over and picked up my jeans that were lying on the floor.

He watched me pull the jeans and t-shirt I was wearing the night before, on, and then I leaned back over the bed.

"Bye." I whispered as I leaned in for a kiss.

He nodded, and turned away from me.

Feeling rejection, I stomped all the way to my room that was two floors under.

I tip-toed past the door, and gritting my teeth at the loud click the door lock made as I closed it, I slipped out of my clothes, and into my pajamas. I had no choice, considering that Brie and Vivian, who were lying in the two twin beds next to mine, would wake up any minute.

I laid there for what seemed liked hours rather than a few minutes, considering what I should do when everyone wakes up.

I could tell Brie and Vivian right away, I would hope that they would understand.
