The Life of Sadie E. Carlistle [DISCONTINUED]

Entry 4

Dear Reader,

Only one more week. One more week of bliss. One more week of the sun. One more week of waking up at 10am every single day. That's right, one more week until school starts. Argh. I really don't want to. It's gonna be hell. 

I met some of the girls in my class at the local shops yesterday. At least, Gabriel said they were in my class. That's right, Gabriel and I went to the mall together. And no, it wasn't like a date or anything. I was shopping for school uniform. He was there to work (he has a job at the froyo place). I went to meet him at his work after I had finished, and a group of girls were standing nearby, giggling. 

Of course, Gabriel insisted we go over and say hi. I really didn't want to, but he made me. They we're complete and utter airheads. Seriously. The conversation went like this:

Gabriel: Hey ladies. 

Girls: Hi Gabriel! *flutter eyelids*

Gabriel: I just came over to introduce you to a friend of mine, {He called me his friend!} who moved here recently, and is going to be in your class this year. 

Girls: A new girl! Awesome!

Gabriel: So ladies, this is my friend and neighbour Sadie. 

Me: Hi. 

Gabriel: Sadie, this is Amber, Brittany, Cassie, Jemma, Kylie and Lydia. {So. Many. Names}

Girls: Hi!

Gabriel: Well, I should get back to work, why don't you girls talk a little. 

{He left. Screw him.}

Amber: So, Sadie, where did you move here from?

Me: Oh, just the city. 

Brittany: Aww, cute. {Totally...}

Me: Yeah...

Cassie: Isn't Gabriel totally adorable?? {YES!!}

Jemma: You're so lucky to live next door to him! {I know!}

Kylie: Amber used to date him, but then he dumped her cause she was too young or something. {Then I guess I'd have no chance. Wait, what?}

Lydia: No, it was because she was too needy, wasn't it?

Amber: Guys, shut up! I don't care. It's his loss. {Or yours}

Brittany: Yeah! Shut up guys!

Cassie: Even if it is his loss, that doesn't make him any less hot. 

Jemma: Yeah, he's still totally gorgeous. 

Kylie: But now he's dating Maddie. {See? He has a girlfriend.}

Lydia: She used to be one of us, but then we kicked her out, cause it's like in the girl code.

Me: What is?

Amber: A girl dating her friend's crush, boyfriend, or ex. 

Brittany: Duh. 

Cassie: Do they not have the GC back in the city? {The GC?}

Me: The GC?

Jemma: The Girl Code. Duh. 

Kylie: We were like, just talking about it. 

Lydia: So do they have it in the city, or not?

Me: I'm not really sure. I didn't really have many friends in the city. {Well, it was only a little white lie...}

Amber: Would you excuse us for a second?

Me: Uh, sure. 

{They all got into a huddle, started whispering, and then broke apart.}

Brittany: We've decided to make you part of our group! {Yay?}

Cassie: We don't do this much. 

Jemma: So it's a really big deal. {Okay then...}

Kylie: You can take Maddie's spot!

Lydia: Yeah. You'll meet Maddie soon. She's in our class. She's totally mean. {In our class? Then how was Amber too young? THAT MEANS I HAVE A CHANCE! Wait, what? I don't wanna meet this Maddie chick.}

Me: Okay, well I'll see you at school? Gabriel's finished his shift, so I've gotta go. 

Amber: Yep, we'll definitely see you then!

Then I walked off and met Gabriel. We walked back to our houses. 

So maybe with some friends, it won't be as bad. Maybe.
