"Damn it! Just one last time!" Emmanel countered and released my grip.
"Fine, don't blame me for what happens." I said as I crossed my arms.
This time, Emmanuel took it seriously, he harnessed his energy at a very high rate, even sensing traces of dark energy, he quickly segregated it from the light energy and immediately tried to absorb the pillar's energy and successfully absorbed it.
"Yes, at last I got it!" Emmanuel said as he leaped in joy and relief.
"Finally it's done!" I said as I opened my half closed eyes.
"Come on, let's check that painting." Joshua requested
"Hey, don't get ahead of yourself and don't leave Annika behind." Rhanea interrupted
"Yeah, right, sorry Annika, I guess I'm just too excited." Joshua said as he turned towards Annika and grabbed her hand.
"Joshua! Please not so rough." Annika complained
"My bad, now let's go." Joshua replied as soon as he softly held Annika's hand.
"Hey guys I found it." Sky said
"Wha! You're way ahead of us, I didn't notice." Joshua followed
"You're just too busy with Annika you didn't notice me take a step forward." Sky countered
"Well that's..." Joshua said as he started to blush.
"Hehehe, isn't that blush supposed to be white?" I joked
"Hey! Cut it, Inno already stopped and you are the next, come on gimme a break!" Joshua complained
"Inno just told me that I'll be his substitute." I replied
"Fuck it! Nevermind that, I wanna see that painting already." Joshua said as he ran towards Sky. "So what does it tell?" Joshua asked as soon as he reached Sky's position.
"It goes like this..." I started
"Oh great! It's gonna start." Joshua interrupted and sat down.
"Just shut up and listen." I retorted. "Now..." I restarted as I calmed down.
*flashback*
"The ancinet text has been translated!" Armageddon said in shock.
"Light won't fall but Darkness should rise, understand this so you won't fall to your demise, maintain the scale, and the cycle won't prevail." Armageddon said out loud.
*Everybody became silent and try to find the hidden meaning of the text written on the stone tablet*
No one was able to find the hidden meaning, and the time for the world's end finally came. The world was sealed with a mark. It glowed tremendously and the world was showered by torrents of divine light that scoured the entire world that eventually killed everyone. However Armageddon survived for no absolute reason.
*end of flashback*
"And the world came to an end but at the same time, Armageddon himself survived woth no absolute reason." I ended
"Wow, that was intense as hell." Joshua said as he stood up.
