"Go Galiza! Dark Pact!" Azul shouted as Galiza created a sphere of dark energy and fired it at us.
"Light Pact!" I said as I created a sphere of light energy and countered Azul's attack.
"Using the opposite element against dark, what a bold move." Azul smirked as Galiza's attack just absorbed mine's.
Trinity helped...
"Phase Shift" Trinity said as my body became semi-transparent and the attack of Galiza phased through me and exploded leaving a large amount of crappy monsters behind.
"One more, Galiza!!" Azul ordered as he launched another Dark Pact attack and another large group of monsters are left after the explosion.
"Damn, we're at a disadvantage here." Sky said while killing a few monsters near him.
"Yeah, they may not be powerful but their sheer numbers is overwhelming, I can't keep up." Emmanuel followed as he parried an attack.
"Shit, we need to escape from here, we got what we need, so we can escape." I said as I blew away a cluster of monsters.
"I'll do that." Trinity started as few words glowed from Mitelstin and two magic circles are created, one on top and another on bottom. "Guys, here!" Trinity said as she entered in between the two circles and was teleported.
"You guys go first, I'll hold them off 'till all of you are away." I suggested as I stepped up.
"We're counting on you." Emmanuel replied
"Hurry!" I shouted
"Got it!" Sky said as he teleported away.
All of them teleported away, I'm supposed to enter the portal last but on the last split second, the portal... disappeared.
"Timed out? Could it be that it also has a duration?" I wondered as my eyes grew big, facing the large hoard of monsters that seemed impossible to overcome. "Ack!!" I exclaimed as a monster imapled my stomach, followed by many more, they struck my arms and legs too.
So... My life is only until here, how pitiful, now I can't help any of them. I thought as I believed I will die.
You're giving up?
Who's there? I asked as I heard that imaginary voice.
You brat, I told you, are you giving up? The voice replied
No but... I was cut off.
No buts!! Or I'll kick your butt, listen kid, this world needs you so I'd do the honor of giving you some power.
If that will make me remain alive, I accept it. I replied mentally to the unknown.
However... there's a cost, your arm will belong to me. The voice spoke.
Shut the hell up already and just do it! I replied
Tsk! Fine, whatever. The voice said as it slowly disappeared.
My right arm glowed a bright yellow and white, with an orb at the very center.
"This is..." Azul said as he dropped his mace in surprise.
"Riafalt!" The orb spoke.
Cool! I got a speaking orb, but that voice, what's this orb's use to me?
"Riafalt!, it can't be! No way!!" Azul said as he dropped on his knees.
"Take this! Heavenly Storming Rage!" I said as I raised my staff and it glowed along with the orb on my right hand and dispersed an uncontrollable set of beams that fired at random directions but two successfully hit Azul square on the face.
"Call that payback!" I said
"Riafalt, that damned dragon!" Azul said as he disappeared. "I'll still return 'ya bitch!" Azul's voice lingered.
"Riafalt... a dragon?" I wondered. "Unexpected things always happen, nevermind, I need to return to them." I said as I shook my head.
I went back to the others and we took off.
"Norvia, do you have any news?" Horakthy asked
"Yes! Mother, the holder of the Divine Pillar, Riafalt... is starting to awaken." Norvia answered
"The twlight of the gods is near now that the first pillar is awakening.
"Mother, do you want me to teach him how to control Riafalt's power?" Norvia suggested
"No, not for now, only do that when Riafalt, finally consumed almost all of his energy. I'd bestow upon you, power to read the flow of energy in a person's body." Horakthy replied as she touched Norvia's forehead adn transferred energy to her. "Now go, the wielders are awaiting your return." Horakthy continued.
"Yes! Mother!" Norvia said as she disappeared.
"Shall the twilight of the gods be enough, or is there something more? Things are getting interesting." Horakthy said as her voice fades away.
