We went to clear the next pillar, Norvia appeared again and she told us about the sealed dragons.
"Wait, so when Azul said Riafalt, he's actually talking about the dragon inside me?" I asked confusingly, flailing my hand around.
"Yes, Riafalt, Dragon of Hope is the one sealed in you, once it is unsealed, you'd understand it's nature and must control it, that is the only way to achieve the true power of Ragnarok." Norvia answered. "That may be at it's best, I wish that Drygsal and Kaiser will awaken soon." Norvia continued, fading away.
"Drygsal?" Emmanuel wondered
"If I would recall, Sky named his skills with 'Kaiser' in them, so the dragon Kaiser must be Sky's and Drygsal is yours. Well, just a wild guess, I really don't know." I said as I cupped my chin.
"Some kind of coincidence maybe." Sky followed
"Ok, you guys better sleep, it's getting dark." I said as the sun slowly sets.
All of us slept except for Emmanuel who is on night guard duty.
Riafalt is calling out to me and I replied.
Hey! Little kid! Riafalt reached out.
What now you damned dragon? Let me sleep in peace for a while, I haven't slept for like 4 days! I argued mentally with MY dragon.
Hehe, for a guardian, you actually controlled your power a while back.
Our fight with Azul? Is that what you're saying?
Don't be naive, I am, it was really impressing how that demon, I mean Azul managed to dodge most of the beams.
Yeah, only two hit, considering that they're all very huge.
I see you also have a brain.
Shut up!
Judgment is near, as I said I own your right arm now, so I can freely control it but once you made me bend to your will, you gain possession over the unfathomable power I hold.
Sheesh Riafalt, stop bragging, it's irritating!
You just called me by my name, then I shall give you a bit of my power.
What?! Just like that?
C'mon, calling me by name is a sign of respect. Riafalt ended as his voice slowly fades away; I woke up.
It's already morning, how long did that dream last? Very well, we still need to find the next pillar.
(I'd be skipping the finding the pillar, bla bla bla, you know what happens, it'll just be like the rest of the sealed pillars, anyway we'd skip to the part where we fight the Ruin Guardian.)
We opened the steel door locking the fifth pillar and we saw the Ruin Guardian, much different from the other ones we previously fought.
"Is that still the Ruin Guardian?" Sky asked, taking a tighter grip on his spear.
"It seems like it." Emmanuel answered, looking at the monster with gleaming violet eyes, a dragon-like body with a mucular physique, a pair of blades, attached to it's respective arms, wings as hard as steel and a long whip-like tail.
"Raawwr!" The monster cried out, it's eyes glowed, then fired purple flames at us.
I spun my staff and it created a light barrier that easily nullified the Ruin Guardian's attack.
"Oooh! Where did you learn that?" Emmanuel asked as the two extra blades appeared.
"While sleeping." I said, although it seemed like a joke, I was pretty serious about it.
