EURUS had began to press her back towards the glass between the two girls. Lilith would join her and only their breathing could be faintly heard. Eurus would hum a certain tune that Lilith came to be familiarized with.

Whenever the lights of the chambers went off, the color would dim to a dark green. Lilith would often frown; the shadows on the wall never looked inviting.

Months had now passed and they were both always bored. Never having anything new to do. Eurus had told Lilith she was seven, so Lilith shared her age as well. Eurus stated they were only a year apart, a gave a stiff nod when Lilith shortly smiled.

The guards would visit them as well, always asking if they were hungry or if they needed anything. Lilith had also quickly become accustomed to Eurus acting like a saint.

Within the first couple of weeks that Lilith had arrived at the institute, she realized that her chamber partner had every single person in Sherrinford wrapped around her tiny finger. She was so aware of how people worked, and continuously pushed their limits just to see which situations would invoke which emotions.

Because Eurus and Lilith shared some type of compatibility within each other due to their life experiences as children, the guards would give Lilith the same treatment as they would Eurus. It made her happy sometimes, but only for passing seconds, as she would frown after a while.

That was another thing Eurus had caught on to. Whenever Lilith would seem to become sad after moments, Eurus would begin to hum the same tune she usually would, except she would occasionally change the tune depending on what she, herself, was feeling.

Even with her perfected music, it was not much distraction from the boring life both girls had to go through. It was this though, that continued to subtly bring them closer.
