VIOLIN music filled the still room, as Lilith merely twirled her blanket sheets within her spindly fingers. Eurus was facing the wall, her back to the containment glass, and her eyes were shut tightly closed, a crease in her forehead. The music was a rather simple piece by Johann Sebastian Bach, and she played it elegantly and right on point.

Hours passed when she finally gave playing a break, and she simply sat criss crossed now facing the glass, her eyes still screwed closed. Lilith lay on her stomach as she admired the pale woman. They were close to one another in a way no one understood, not even themselves. Lilith thought that everyone had a friendship like Eurus and her, as what Eurus had called their connection.

The chamber doors slid open, and a man of average height and a classy fashion sense stepped inside. His hair was slicked back, and sunglasses covered his eyes. Lilith tilted her head in repressed amazement; he looked good. Then she quickly diverted her attention back towards Eurus and noticed she was also staring at the man.

She smiled at him.

They both ignored Lilith and stepped closer to each other through the clear wall which separated them both, and Eurus smirked as her eyes were wide in interest.

"Redbeard..."

The man removed his glasses and gave her a slightly funny look. His eyes looked like the dark fudge Lilith would dip her fingers in whenever she wanted a taste. She found herself staring for too long, too intensely, and suddenly his eyes met hers. He licked his lips and dragged his eyes across her body until he tore his gaze off her and looked back at Eurus.

They were both nose to nose with the glass, and silently moved across it, coming to a seemingly mutual respect. Admiration filled the atmosphere, and Lilith wanted nothing more than to crawl into her covers and disappear.

They moved back, and Eurus looked at the camera in patience. Then she turned her head towards Lilith and studied her for a moment, before looking back at the man and clearing her throat.

Lilith was not aware of what happened next after that, for she felt a deep sense of tiredness overcome her body and her face hit the soft blankets of her bed.

She only heard soft laughter escape a familiar face, and sleepily glanced up at her sister's eyes as hers slowly began to close. Everything became dark and Amber's soft voice filled Lilith's ears.

'I told you she was just going to hurt you in the end...'

How wrong Lilith hoped she was.
