KIM'S POV

I hope Cheryl is doing alright in there. She's been gone for a while now and I don't hear any screaming or crying, so I am going to take a wild guess and say it's going well. After another few minutes I decide to get out of bed and just go listen to what's going on. I walk up to the door to see it open and Mac in Cheryl's arms. Both of them have tears streaming down their faces. I take in the scene of my girlfriend, holding who could be her daughter in her arms. I could only think to myself that Cheryl would be a great mum.

I built up the courage to walk into the room. I approached my girlfriend and put my hand on her shoulder. She turned around and released the hug her and Mac were so tightly wrapped in. She stepped right into my arms, holding me tighter than she ever has before. I held her for a while, taking a break to kiss her face a few times.

Finally, Cheryl released the embrace and began to explain everything to me. She asked Mac if she could tell me about what she's gone through and Mac just nodded her head. Cheryl continued and tears sprang to my eyes. I was never one for tears, I wasn't as delicate as Cheryl. But I couldn't help it. This was a 16 year old girl, treated like nothing. She reminds me so much of Cheryl now. I can see it in her eyes.

With Cheryl telling me how they wanted to move on with this, I called the doctors office immediately. I got them appointments for 2pm which was now in 2 hours. I went back into Mac's room and told them both this. Cheryl's smile lit up the room. I missed those dimples.

"Thank you baby."

"Of course, I only called the doctor sweetheart, you guys did the rest." I smiled and started to go back out of the room. Before I heard Mac call my name.

"Kimberley?"

"Yes?"

"Can you stay with Cheryl and I?"

"Of course, if you like."

She walked over to me and sat next to me on the bed, before mumbling, "Can I tell you something?"

"Of course, anything you want, sweetheart."

She leaned into my ear and said, "it looks like you make Cheryl very happy and have given her a lot. I hope if I am indeed her daughter, you'll let me into that happiness bubble too." She looked away and smiled at me.

I bent back down into her ear and said, "whenever Cheryl and I talk about you, we always say our daughter. I promise to always be there for you, sweetheart. I will be whatever you want me to be for you." I looked into her eyes and smiled.

We all went our separate ways to get ready for the doctors office. Cheryl gave Mac some of her clothes and Mac called Jo to tell her what was going on. Jo was over joyed from what I was hearing. They have been searching for Cheryl for an awfully long time.

CHERYL'S POV

Kimba ran around the side of the car to open to door for us as we arrived to the doctor's office. I was so nervous. I could only imagine how Mac must be feeling. I waited for her to get out of the car. As she got out, I could see the nerves just by looking at her face. I reached down for her hand and she grabbed onto me hand right away.

"Is this okay?" I smiled at her.

"Of course, I will always be here to hold your hand when you're scared. Mark me words." She just smiled at me and continued to walk in.

I went up to check us in while Kimba and Mac sat in the chairs of the waiting room.

"2 appointments under Tweedy?"

"Okay Ms. Tweedy, you're all set. Someone should be out for you shortly."

I walked back over to me girlfriend and Mac and sat there for what felt like an eternity before someone came out for us.
