CHERYL'S POV
I woke up to see me daughter's head lying on me chest and me girlfriend cuddled behind her. I've been wishing for moments like this for forever, but I could only help but ask me self if she'd stay. She told us she never really called a place home, but I know her and Jo are attached at the hip and probably don't want to be separated. I don't want to upset her, but I really want me daughter to be here.
I kissed Kimba's cheek, trying to slowly wake her up. She stirred in her sleep before opening her eyes to me.
"Good morning Chez."
All I could do was lean over and kiss her. I was so in awe from what she told Mac last night that I don't even have the words to say to her.
"What was that for?"
"You're absolutely perfect Kimberley. You're everything I've ever wanted and hoped for. Mac is lucky to have you too."
"I'm just trying to be there for her. Even if it's just as a friend, or just her mother's girlfriend." She shrugs. But, deep down I know Mac will come to fall in love with Kimba and she'll be her mother too.
"I think we have to ask her about going to Jo's.. at least to just get her stuff. Plus we should probably talk to Jo's parents. They have been watching her all this time."
"You're probably right babe. We can talk to her when she wakes up."

MAC'S POV
I woke up for the first time in a long time, with a smile on my face. I remember falling asleep in Kim's arms and feeling myself snuggle into someone's chest- I'm going to assume it was Cheryl's. I don't really know where to go from here. I know Cheryl said she wanted me in her life and she was never going to let go of me, but does that mean from a distance? Does that mean we'll see each other occasionally? Does she want me to live with her?

I don't really know what to think anymore, so I pick up my phone and text Jo. She always knows what to do.

I am hoping Jo's right

I am hoping Jo's right. I hope Cheryl will keep me around. I'd truly want nothing more.
AUTHOR'S POV
Kim and Cheryl walked across the corridor into Mac's room to discus what was going to happen moving forward. Cheryl fears that Mac won't want to stay, just visit her and Kimberley. They knock on the teen's door to see a flustered Mac.
"Babe what's going on?" Kimberley was always so gentle and loving with anyone. This was always in Kimberley's nature.
"O-oh nothing. I'm fine."
Cheryl takes Mac's hand and leads her over to the bed.
"The truth now, please?"
"Okay I just don't know what to do moving forward. I want to stay here with you and Kimba. I don't want to live anywhere else and I don't know how you're feeling."
Kim cuts in before Cheryl has the chance to speak- "Actually Mac, that's why we were coming in. We wanted to talk to you about what YOU wanted to do. If you want to stay here with us, we would be more than happy to put a roof over your head. Both Cheryl and I want you to stay, that is if you'd want to..."
"That is exactly what I want. I want to be your daughter forever, for real this time."
Cheryl has never wanted to hear those 7 words more in her life- "I want to be your daughter forever"
"So should we arrange getting you to Jo's to get your belongings and say goodbye?"
"I would like that, thank you both."
"Okay Chez and I can take you later this afternoon. Why don't you take a shower and we'll find you some clothes, then we can have a nice brunch outside in the garden?"
"Sure, I'll just go get ready now."
Mac went into her en-suite to get ready, while Cheryl and Kimberley walked out of, what is now, their daughters room. Cheryl couldn't seem to wipe the smile off of her face.
