Chapter 2

Lily's P.O.V.

I knock on the Ben's office door and wait patiently for him to answer.

"Come in!" I hear his voice call. I open the door and step inside making sure to close it behind me, "Lily," he grins looking at me, "what are you doing here?"

"Well," I start, "You've been going on about how stressed you are so I've decided to come help."

"I really appreciate that," he sighs with a smile on his face, "I've got it handled at the moment but if you want you can wait in here until I do need help," he says hopefully.

"Yeah sure," I smile taking a seat.

"Deborah?" He says into his intercom.

"Yes, Your Majesty?" She says.

"Can you ask Lumiere to call me regarding Cotillion?" He asks her.

"Yes, sir," she says again.

"Thank you," he thanks her before turnig to me, "how's your flying going?"

"How did you know about that?" I ask confused

"You're dad asked me to keep an eye on you," he grins sheepishly.

"Of course he did," I laugh, "and yeah it's going good thanks."

"Ben?" Evie asks walking through the door.

"Evie!" Ben smiles standing up, "Come on in."

"Mal’s gone back to the Isle," she says sadly causing Ben's smile to go away and me to stand up shocked. Evie walks in front of Ben and hands him some paper which he immediately starts to read, "Ben..." he looks up at her and she hands him the ring that he gave Mal.

He reads the paper again before scrunching it up and looking at Evie and I as we stood next to each other.

"This is my fault," Ben mutters, "This is my fault," he starts to panic slightly, "I-I blew it. She’d been under so much pressure lately, and instead of being understanding, I just went all Beast on her," he leans on his desk for a couple of seconds before getting up in realisation, "I have to go there and apologize. I have to go there and--and beg her to come back."

"Ben," I whisper sadly, "you’ll never find her."

"I--" he starts walking to the window but gets cut off by Evie.

"You need to know how the Isle and how it works and..." she starts saying before pausing as she watches him, "you have to take me with you."

"Yes!" Ben says turning to her, "Uh are you sure?"

"Yeah," she nods sadly, "She is my best friend and we'll bring the boys too, because there's safety in numbers, and none of us is really too popular over there right now."

"I'm coming too," I say causing them both to look at me unsure, "she my friend as well. Plus, if something goes wrong I'll take a few weapons to protect us," they both nod agreeing.

"Thank you!" Ben thanks us both.

"But let's get two things straight," Evie says to both Ben and I, "You have to promise me that I won't get stuck there again."

"I promise," he says quickly.

"And there's no way you're both going looking like that," she looks at our outfits.

"Don't worry," I grin, "I have the perfect outfit."
