"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" I sat up with a start. Crap I was late I shoved off the covers and raced to the closet "what to wear, what to wear?" I mumbled. I picked up a pile of clothing and sniffed the shirt. "Yeah not to bad."
Granny stood in the door way smiling, despite wearing her baking apron flour covered her pants. This wasn't an unusual occurrence, Granny was always wild with the flour. "Someone's up early."
"Yeah", I agreed "Have to get to school early to show some new kids around".
She raised her eyebrow skeptically at me.
"What, I need the extra credit."
She laughed, "no arguing with that."
"Ha ha." I laughed bitterly "for your information I got a A on my last test"
"Really, that's a new one", she said with a smirk
"Wow! You are so encouraging. I feel so motivated to get more A's in the future."I said as I rolled my eyes.
"Yep you know it. You can grab a cinnamon roll before you leave."
"Thanks", I said.
After quickly dressing, I looked in the mirror within the frame stood a teenager with messy brown hair square shoulders a athlete's build but not that far from that of a normal teen's there was nothing strange about him all except his eyes or my eyes they were a yellow green and they had a glow to them a glow both beautiful and dangerous i snapped out of the trance if I didn't hurry i was going to be late.
I headed down stairs. "Smells good down here granny."
"Yeah I bet it does! I got some meat in the pot cooking for dinner."
"Sounds good. Well I better go. Don't want to keep the kids waiting. See you later gran"
"Bye. Oh and come straight home, we don't want to have another incident"
"Yeah yeah. I had detention. you can't just go home with detention. I swear Ms. Johnson has it out for me. There is something about those beady eyes that just scream evil."
"More reason to come straight home behave okay oh be nice to those kids." she said with a smile and don't do anything crazy okay stay safe."
"You know I will, see yea gran." I gave her a hug then headed out.
