It's Wednesday, and I have now survived 3 days with Easton without going insane. I should get an award. It's 7 am, and I sit at the kitchen island eating breakfast. I bought 5 donuts on the way home from Candy's house last night, and I only ate three. So that leaves two donuts for breakfast. It's probably not the healthiest breakfast, but I don't care, it's just too delicious. Just as I was reaching toward the last donut, a big hand came flying from my left, grabbing it. I turned, gaping. Easton stood before me in ripped black jeans, a white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He had tinted sunglasses on, hiding his beautiful eyes. He devoured the donut in just a few seconds and licked his fingers clean. My throat went dry, and I had to clear my throat.

"That was my donut!" I called out.

"Well, then you should have said something," Easton said, smirking.

"Are you ready to leave?" He asked me while picking my plate up from the table and putting it in the sink. Easton had been driving me to school every day since he got here. He had started to drop me off at the usual drop-off station now.

"Actually, Russ is taking me to school today," I replied.

Russ had texted me last night that he wanted to talk about what happened at school. I told him that I wasn't interested in listening to what he had to say and that we were over. But he was very persistent, asking for just 10 minutes of my time. He asked me if he could drive me to school so that we could talk in the car. I was hesitant at first, but he kept pleading, so I decided to hear what he had to say. I wasn't going to give in to him though, we were definitely over.

"Your boyfriend?" Easton asked and made a disgusted face. I don't know why since he hadn't even met Russ.

"It's complicated," I told him.

I jumped down from the kitchen chair and threw my backpack over my shoulder, ready to leave. I said goodbye to Easton and hurried outside. Russ wasn't here yet, so I'll have to wait. 15 minutes later, he still hadn't shown up. I glanced at my watch, only 10 minutes before my first class starts. Just as I was about to pick up my phone and call him, a black Mercedes with tinted windows pulled up beside me. The front seat window rolled down, and I could see Easton's face behind it.

"Get in the car." He instructed.

I checked the road back and forth a couple of times, in case Russ would show up. But no such luck.

"Get in the car, or you'll be late." He growled.

I sighed, knowing that if I didn't accept Easton's ride, I'd be late. I walked around the car, opened the passenger door, and slid inside. Easton pulled his sunglasses down and started his car. He glanced at me through the corner of his eyes. I hoped he wasn't going to say anything about Russ. Easton opened his mouth to speak, but I cut him off.

"Don't say a thing," I snapped and looked him straight in the eyes.

"I haven't said anything." He replied, looking back at the road again.

There was a pause, before he said, "What I don't get is -"

"I said don't say a thing!" I didn't care that I had raised my voice at him, I was in a bad mood today.

"Fine, whatever." Easton huffed, letting go of the subject.

"What music do you listen to?" He suddenly asked me.

I was surprised at his sudden change in the conversation. But I'd gladly talk about anything that wasn't about Russ.

"Uhm, a little of everything. I'm mostly into 80's rock" I answered him

"Really?" He looked surprised at that.

"Yeah, my favorite bands are Queen and Def Leppard."

"You're shitting me. I thought most of the girls your age are listening to Ariana Grande," he said.
