Easton was curled up on the sofa together with his date. He had changed his outfit and was wearing dark ripped jeans and a white T-shirt with a low V neck. The white shirt he wore was somewhat transparent, likely by being washed one too many times. Through his shirt, I was able to see his stomach, and the guy was seriously ripped. I know he works out a lot because I've seen him leave early in the morning with a duffel bag hanging from his shoulder and he's all sweaty when he comes back. I tore my gaze away from him to the girl next to him. She was so beautiful. She had long wavy brown hair, piercing blue eyes, and painted red lips. She was wearing a blue sundress with black high heels, and lying on the ground next to the couch was a small purse. She laughed at something Easton had said to her and flipped her hair, then she took a sip of her wine. Easton grabbed the wine bottle from the table and refilled her glass again. She thanked him while fluttering her long, probably fake eyelashes. Easton put the bottle back on the table and then returned his attention to her. She said something in a low voice that I couldn't hear, and Easton smirked, showing his dimple. She then scooted closer to him and put a hand on his thigh. Easton looked taken aback but didn't put her hand away.

"Ava..." He murmured in her ear, and she giggled like a little girl.

My breath caught in my throat, and I turned to face Candy. She was laughing while covering her mouth with her hand. I motioned to her that it was time to go, but she just shook her head and continued to watch them.

I stared back at Easton and his date. She now had her arms around his neck and was purring like a cat. I didn't want to keep looking at them, clearly, this was a private moment that I was intruding at. But I wasn't able to stop looking. Ava was stroking his left arm, pausing when she reached his abs and squeezed.

"Wow, you must work out." She said in a husky low voice and then continued stroking his arm up and down. Easton was glancing down at her with hooded eyes. Ava leaned over him and kissed his neck, his head dropped to the side and he looked in my direction. He stiffened when his gaze discovered mine, but he didn't look away. Instead, he continued to watch me.

I was suddenly being pulled away from them, Candy had dragged me out of view. I leaned against the wall and swallowed hard. My legs shook and I felt hot all over.

"Wow, that was intense," Candy said, looking at me.

Suddenly Easton appeared in front of us. He crossed his arms and lifted his chin, waiting for Candy or me to start talking. Candy glances nervously at me, but I was too rattled up to speak. I just stared at him with wide eyes, not moving a muscle. Candy cleared her throat.

"Oh look at the time, I need to leave. My dad is making dinner, I don't want to be late. Bye!"

She hurried down the hall, glancing back at me with an apologetic look before the door slammed closed and she was gone.

I can't believe she left me all alone with Easton! What was I going to say to him? I didn't want to admit what we were doing. Even though he knew we were watching them, I didn't want to admit it out loud. Easton was still waiting for an explanation, so I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out.

"Well, are you going to say something?" He asked.

"Uhm..." I started.

"Hey, what's going on?" A soft feminine voice said behind Easton, and I was grateful for the interruption. Ava was standing behind Easton, and that's when I noticed how tall she was. She was almost as tall as Easton, she must be at least 6 feet. I instantly felt insecure about my 5'2. Easton sighed, dropped his hands to his side, and turned to face Ava.

"Who is she?" she asked suspiciously before Easton could say anything.

"She's just my friend's daughter." He said in a flat tone like I meant nothing to him.

She studied me for a while before she pursed her lips and frowned.

"Listen. Tonight was fun, but it's getting late..." Easton said, dismissing her without straight-up saying it. Ava looked at Easton, then at me, and then back at Easton. She slowly nodded and went to pick up her purse from the floor. She straightened her dress and looked at Easton while shifting uncomfortably. Easton turned and walked towards her, then he leaned in and whispered something in her ear that made her giggle. Easton pulled back to look at her, and she gave him a bright smile.

"I'll see you later," she said shyly, then walked towards the door.

Now there was only Easton and me. He turned his attention back to me and shot me a vicious smile. I was in trouble, I could feel it.

"I know you and your friend were spying on Ava and I. Why did you do it?" He asked straight forward.

There was no point in denying it, he had seen me. He even made eye contact with me. I blinked rapidly, trying to shake the image of him and Ava out of my head.

"Well, it wasn't exactly my idea,"

I cringed at my lame response. I wasn't lying, it hadn't been my idea. But I was still part of it, and it made me feel guilty.

"I'm sorry, we were bored," I mumbled while looking at the ground. Easton sighed and dragged a hand through his hair.

"I thought you were gonna sing and dance all evening." He said, referring to the lie I told him earlier today.

I shrugged, not knowing how to respond. He took a step closer to me and put his hands on the wall behind me, caging me in. He had a wicked smile on his face as he leaned in closer. I stilled, feeling like a caged animal. My heart was beating so fast, I hoped he couldn't hear it.

"Did you like the show?" He asked me in a low voice.

"I...I... " I stuttered.

"Well?" He raised his eyebrows, waiting for me to respond. He was likely trying to intimidate me, but he made me feel anything but. I was hot all over, and I couldn't think straight. I needed to get him off me before he realized what he did to me. I swallowed and took a deep breath before I pushed him off me. He laughed dryly and gave me a half-smile, then he crossed his arms over his chest.

"If you're trying to intimidate me, it's not working. And no, I did not like the show. It was disgusting, and now I'm gonna have to sanitize the couch after all her drooling, thank you very much."

His eyes flashed with annoyance.

"Please, we barely kissed." He huffed.

"And thank God for that!" I replied in a high voice.

Easton rolled his eyes, which annoyed me.

"You knew I was having a girl over tonight. If you didn't want to witness it you should have stayed in your room." He snarled.

I crossed my arms and glared at him, how dare he. I took a step closer to him and pointed at his chest.

"I live here! I shouldn't have to stay in my room just because you feel like doing the hanky panky in the living room. Which, by the way, is gross. At least have some class and take it to the bedroom."

"I'm not a classy man" He winked, and then walked away.
