Shock

-AN: I'm doing well for updates today :3 so, let us continue.

~Minx's POV~

I looked down at the ground as I hear Ohm shout at me.

"What the hell Minx?!" Everyone was looking at me with different expressions. Shock, pity, anger, disgust. I felt so ashamed. I looked up and Pewds and Cry we're shaking their heads.

Ohm spoke up yet again. "We trust you as our leader and you go and do that?! Tell me! Was it worth it?!" I flinched at his words then slowly nodded. But immediately wished I hadn't. His eyes held so much sadness and anger that I thought he might explode. I muttered something about going to lie down then let the tears escape as I let the memory run through my mind.

~Ohm's POV~

I followed Minx to the place where she would battle Krism. I trusted her but... if Krism decided to kill her, she would be defenceless. I watched as they fought and began to lose focus. But... something happened that really surprised me. They kissed.

I closed my eyes and ran back to the camp, out of breath and stood there surrounded by our gang. Everyone was murmuring and growing uneasy. I explained the situation to them and everyone began to react differently. I would definitely be scolding Minx later.

When she came into the camp, you looked so shocked and her eyes showed signs of tears.

I simply glared at her and began yelling. I could see it hurt her but I'm her older brother. Someone has to keep her in check.

When she ran off, I knew she regretted her decision and nodded. At least she'll think twice before flirting with the enemy again.

~Back to Minx's POV~

I whimpered and buried my face in my pillow. I had messed up and I knew it. Why did I kiss her?! Now everyone is going to be watching me like a hawk. I curled up into a ball and just cried.

After a while, Ohm came in and whispered to me. "It's alright. I'm sorry for being so harsh." I furrowed my brow and ignored him, still upset about his outburst. He gently rubbed circles on my back and pulled me into a gentle hug.

I sniffles a few times and calmed down but still refused to talk to him.

"Minx?" He waited then shook me. "Minx?"

I closed my eyes and feigned being asleep. Thankful he believed it and smiles before leaving the room. I was glad to be away from him. I didn't feel very good due to recent events so I just fell asleep.
