Can I trust you?

-AN: it's been a while since I've updated. I'm gonna try to resolve things in this chapter :)

The sad thing is, this story will be ending soon. But I'll be starting another one after that. :3

Anyway, enjoy.

~Minx's POV~

Since that note, I've been bringing a pistol out with me every night. You never know when a sneak attack could happen. I went to the park where me and Krism had made out that one time. I was sat down and relaxed.

I tensed up when I heard footsteps and dashed behind a broken fence. My heart almost melted at the sight I saw. Krism was crying. I heard her mutter something quietly.

"Ziegs... That stupid traitor... All Minx wants to do is kill me now and it's all her fault..."

I frowned at this. It must be a trick to get me to come out. Ziegs wouldn't betray her. I sighed inwardly and tried to sneak away.

I got a few steps away then my foot went down into a hole. I gasped in pain.

"Shit!" Apparently I said this too loud because immediately after, I heard Krism shout out "who's there?" I stayed silent and hoped she would brush it off.

I had to close my eyes straight after looking at my foot. It was at an odd angle and obviously was dislocated. I felt sick but tried to get up when I saw Krism walk towards me with worry in her eyes.

I scrambled backwards and looked behind her. My pistol was on the ground and I couldn't reach it. I tried to move away but instead jerked my foot and ultimately sent a burst of pain up my leg.

I was done for and I knew it. She was going to end my life now. I closed my eyes and went slack. The pain was too much to bear. I braced myself for more pain when I felt her touch me then opened my eyes in shock when she picked me up.

"W-what are you doing?" I squeaked this out due to the pain that wracked my body at every movement.

"I'm taking you to my base. We'll get your ankle patched up then we can talk about what happened." I frowned but knew I could do nothing but comply so I nodded.

She smiled faintly and that was the last thing I saw before passing out.

~Krism's POV~

I sighed and pulled her close before heading back to our base. I walked in and everyone gave me a curious look. I took her to the medical room where I set my best medic off, mending her foot.

This stress was getting to me so I sat outside, waiting for this to happen. People were staring at me oddly so I just ignored them. I held more power over my gang than Minx did over hers due to the fact that I kill people who go against me.

I sighed and thought back. I always revel in the fact that I'm so strong. I'm more dominant that most people which is why we are called the wolf pack. Because I'm an alpha in a way.

After a while, our medic came out and told me Minx was awake and that we could speak privately. She then told me that Minx was okay to leave. I nodded and walked into the room.

Minx immediately looked at me fearfully. I held out my hand carefully and she reluctantly grabbed it.

I helped her stand then let her lean on me as we walked out of the base wordlessly. I felt a strange sense of satisfaction. I knew I intimidated her and I took advantage of that. I took her to the park them sat her on a bench before pulling her into a hug.

"I'm so sorry. That letter was faked. Ziegs told me that she'd been given it by someone and that person said to give it to you. It's not real.

I saw tears come to her eyes and eventually she was sobbing into my shoulder. She buried her face in the crook of my neck and just cried. We stayed like that for a while until she started speaking.

"I'm sorry... I was so close to killing you after that... I should've thought thins through first."

Those words hurt me but I stayed strong and lifted up her chin. She looked into my eyes and I saw her eyes widen slightly. I smiled and wiped away her tears then pulled her into a kiss.

-AN: alright, so a short chapter but the next one will be interesting.

There will be sexual activities in the next chapter so if you don't like it, please skip the chapter. It's not important to the plot. Just a filler type thing that has been requested a few times so yeah.
