The weekend had arrived faster then Kimberly thought. She left her bedroom that afternoon in her gown. She gracefully walked down the stairs as she looked over everyone. Death eaters were everywhere.

She entered the living room to see her parents socializing with the Malfoy family. Draco quickly stood up at the sight of her. He approached her, silently grabbed her arm and guided her into the kitchen where the house-elf's were preparing trays of food to survive.

"You look ravishingly lovely," he admitted to her.

She scoffed. She ripped her arm out of his grip. "You don't need to flatter me."

"Alright," Draco said sighing. He ran a hand through his platinum blonde hair. "I'll be proposing when my father gives me the signal."

"Can't wait," she said sarcastically as she grabbed a truffle off a tray and popped it into her mouth. "I'm going to go socialize till then."

With that, she gracefully walked out of the kitchen and went to chat with some relatives.

"Everyone! Everyone! My son has an announcement," Lucius called out as he tapped his class with a spoon. Everyone entered the large living room.

"Darling, come here," Mary ordered as Kimberly walked through the crowd. She stood beside her parents.

Draco went in front of the crowd. He cleared his throat. "Kimberly," he started as he turned towards her. He slowly got down on one knee. He grabbed her hands delicately. "Will you marry me?" he asked pulling out a box, he opened it, showing her the ring.

She paused. Her breath caught in her throat. She made eye contact with her parents who stared at her. Her mother mouthed, "say yes."

Kimberly looked down at Draco's worries expression. He was sweating.

"Yes," she mumbled as he put the ring on her finger. The crowd cheered as their families shook hands. Kimberly only saw a blur as she realized this is her destiny that is made by her parents. It was now her turn to continue the bloodline in both families. Could she let this marriage be done or will she crumble and run? She had no idea yet.
