Kimberly was bored to death as she listened to her parents and Draco's parents fight over wedding decor ideas. Kimberly was seated next to Draco on the couch while their parents stood around the room, arguing and looking at different colours of green.
"Kim."
Kimberly's ears perked and tingled at the feel of Draco whispering in her ear.
"What?" she asked whispering as her mother gave her a strange look.
"Let's leave early," he suggested.
Kimberly cleared her throat and rose from the couch. Draco followed.
"Draco and I are going up to my room,"
"Don't do anything in till the wedding night," Lucius stated with a stern glare.
"We won't. Continue planning," Kimberly said as she headed up the stairs.
"I'll be home late tonight," Draco told his parents as he run up the stairs to catch up to her.
Draco entered her room, shutting the door behind him. He glanced around and wondered where she went. He sat on the edge of her bed.
"Everything I own is green," Kimberly called out. "Is that okay?"
Draco chuckled. "Of course it's okay. My tie to my black tux is green so we'll match perfectly," he assured her.
Kimberly stepped out of the bathroom. As she slipped on her heels, Draco checked her out head to toe.
"Woah," he mumbled.
"Is it okay?" she asked as she grabbed her purse, placing her wand inside.
"It's perfect," he told her as he stood up, grabbing her hand and gave her a spin. "Shall we?" he asked kissing her hand as he placed her hand on his arm.
"We shall," she stated but paused. "We should probably go by broom, out the window," she explained.
"Right, can't get caught," he explained as he went to the window and called his broom. He jumped on his broom once it arrived and waited for her outside her window.
"This is more difficult then you think," she told him as she flew out the window. The broom was hidden under her dress. They flew to the ball and whistled for their brooms to head home.
"Ready?" he asked as she hooked her arm with his.
"I guess so," she mumbled as they entered the crowded ballroom. They danced around and make small talk.
After awhile, Kimberly finally sat down at a nearby table. Draco continued to talk and dance with other woman. Something in her stomach tightened at the sight.
She knew he was good looking but the sight of him dancing with other woman had made her heartache painfully.
"What's a beautiful witch like you sitting alone? Shouldn't you be dancing?" a man asked as he approached her. He was handsome no doubt but he wasn't Draco.
"I was dancing. My fiancee is busy right now," Kimberly said quickly as the man glanced towards the dance floor. He spotted Draco admittedly due to his platinum blonde hair.
"Then let's show him that you too can be busy," the man pushed as he grabbed her hand and pulled her off the chair.
"I really don't-."
He cut her off by grabbed her waist and holding her hand as they danced their way to the floor. She was pressed against him uncomfortably as he dragged her onto the floor like some rag doll.
Draco caught sight of the commotion right away. His blood boiled. Maybe it was wrong to dance with the other ladies but he couldn't say no but now, seeing Kimberly's discomfort. He let go of the lady he was dancing with.
The lady fell to the ground. The whole room went silent. Nobody moved.
The man dancing with Kimberly had stopped moving but hadn't let go. Draco pulled out his wand and pointed it at the man angrily.
