"Hello welcome to Applebee's! Would you like to have a drink?" I ask
"I'll have a coke." The little girl smiles.
"I'll have a sprite." The boy says
"I'll stick with the water." The mother I suppose says.
"I'll have a beer." The father says.
"Okay I'll be right with it."
I walk away and chase my coworker stops me.
"You have table 4 waiting." He says
"That's Vanessa's." I whine
"She's on break."
"Okay I'm going."
I walk up to the table and I see jc Sam Trevor Ricky and kian.
"Hello welcome to Applebee's! What would you like to drink?" My heart is slowly breaking.
Jc looks up from his menu.
"Allison?" He asks
Kian shoots his head up towards me. He has circles under his eyes similar to mine.
"So what would you like to drink."
I blink away the tears.
I swallow the lump in my throat.
"Allison I'm sorry..." Jc starts
"What would you like to drink?" I ask again.
Sam shifts uncomfortably.
Kian's eyes lock with mine.
A tear rolls down my cheek.
I slowly wipe it off.
"Can we talk." He mouthed
I nod.
I walk up to chase.
"Can you please take table 4 and 7."
He looks at my tear stained cheeks before nodding.
I walk outside. The sun is setting.
I hear footsteps. I turn to see kian.
We look into each other's eyes. Not saying a word.
He crashes his lips against mine. I part my lips and his tongue slides in.
I pull him closer than ever. I missed the fire and passion when we kissed. I missed the love.
"I'm sorry kian please forgive me." I say
"I forgive you. But you have to answer something first. answer truthfully."
"Shoot."
"Do you have any feelings for jc?"
"I'll admit I wasn't a hundred percent sure before me and jc kissed. But right after our lips met I was one hundred percent sure I saw nothing more than friendship."
"I love you." He says
"I love you too."
I hug him.
"I missed you...so much." I cry leaning on his shoulder.
"I missed you too."
"How long have you've been working here?"
"It's been a week."
"Why?"
"I needed a distraction."
"It didn't work." I reassure him.
"Where have you've been staying?"
"I stayed at a hotel the first week. And at Adams the second."
His eyes widen at the mention of Adam.
"He got the bed I got the couch." I tell him
Yes the rest of the week I crashed on the couch.
"You don't like him?"
"No Kian. Practically ever moment we spent together I was crying over you."
"I'm moving to my apartment tomorrow anyways."
His smile drops.
"You aren't gonna move back with me?"
"The question is do you want me to?"
"Yes I wanna be the first face you see when you wake up in the morning and the last face you see before you fall asleep."
"Aren't we moving quickly?" I ask
"I don't give a fuck. This had been by far the worse two weeks of my life."
"I completely agree."
"I gotta go." I say
"Where?" He asks
"Well I gotta quit then I have to pack." I say with a smile.
"I'll help with the packing part." He says
We both walk inside.
I go to my boss.
"I know tomorrow was supposed to be my last day but I'm leaving now." I tell him.
"That's fine. You did great during your short time here."
"Thank you."
I walk towards Kian's table. I took off my work apron.
He stands up and greets me with a kiss.
"I missed those lips." He whispers in my ear.
"You guys moved quickly." Sam said
"I missed her." Kian defends.
He grabs my hand and we walk towards my car.
I stop at Adams place.
I walk in his apartment.
Adam looks at our intertwined hands.
He smiles.
He knew how much I loved him.
I grab my stuff which I already packed.
"What's this?" Kian asks holding up his shirt that Ricky accidentally packed.
"I couldn't sleep without it." I explain
He smiles.
I grab my bag and stuff his shirt in there.
"Bye Allison." Adam says
I give him a friendly hug.
"Bye Adam."
I walk out with kian and put my stuff in my trunk.
We drive back to the o2l.
"Home sweet home." I say as I step in.
