" No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true " ~Cinderella
"Don't think and don't worry. When the time comes, you'll know what to do" ~ The Incredibles
Wesley sat quietly in the back of Calum's car with his arms crossed and a distinct scowl on his face. I sat in the passenger seat, giving directions to Calum because he had offered to take the two of us home after that little stunt Wesley pulled. Other than the sound of my voice and the radio in the background, the car had become completely silent.
A few torturous minutes later, the car pulled up in front of our large house. Our designated driver gaped for a few moments but shook it off pretty quickly. I quietly got out and walked over to the drivers side. I waited as Calum rolled down the window to the car.
"So, um," I cleared my throat, "Sorry we took away your chance to eat lunch," I fiddled with my hands. He laughed.
"Don't worry about it. At least I got free entertainment," He winked at me and I smiled weakly. After exchanging pleasantries, I turned and walked up the cement path to my front door.
~A/N wow actually I'm sorry this started out horrible. So tbh I don't know how this chapter is going to turn out cause I have no idea what to do but I'm just gonna wing it and roll with it, kay?~
It was a fine Saturday morning. The sun was high in the sky, it was warm outside, with a light breeze to not make it too hot. But that's just the weather. Cassie had been holed up in her house the entire weekend and only left to go to work. Wesley stole her third first kiss and she was sulking about his. It's not like he stole her right to marry, good grief.
But aside from Cassie, here I am, just browsing through Netflix with nothing better to do with my life. Still sulking to myself, I was forced out of self-pity when the doorbell rang. Wesley won't do it so I found myself shuffling down the hall and stairs to the house and opening the door.
I screamed and slammed the door immediately after opening it. What I found was something an innocent person should never experience. To put it simply, if Cas was the devil incarnate, then this person is Satan himself. Cradling my head in my hands, I sat with my back against the door while Satan was consistently knocking on the wood door behind me.
Wesley had obviously heard my screams and came rushing down to see what was wrong. My head shot up with terror-filled eyes and I stared at the boy in front of me. We both sat and stood still for a moment, before I burst forth and grabbed Wesley's forearm and started running up the stairs.
"Pack your bags Wesley and pick a new name, we're moving to Canada!" I said over my shoulder, still pulling Wesley behind me. We ran into my room and I locked the door behind me.
"Raina, who was at the door?" Wesley questioned while he was settling himself on the floor, leaning against my bed.
"Wesley... It's her... It's Evelyn!" I whispered. He froze and the terror started to build up on his face.
"Raina, we don't have enough time left to run-" He tried reasoning, but I slammed my hand against his mouth when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Wesley and I froze, waiting for out imminent death.
The door jiggled for a bit, but it swing open soon later. And in the doorway stood an annoyed brunette with crossed arms and a nervous blonde behind her.
And together, Wesley and I screamed.
