Arctic mermaids
Arctic mermaids are sometimes known as Ice mermaids live in cold waters and are built for survival and cold temperatures.
These mermaids live in arctic regions. Ice mermaids prefer colder water temperatures for some reason:) They are generally found near the poles though are mostly found in salt water. These mermaids live throughout Arctic and Antartic waters. The Arctic mermaids seem to eat everything since plants and all those nutrients for food are scarce and not found everywhere.
The Arctic mermaids have very pale skin so you can see through. They have larger eyes to see through the waters. They also have a fine layer of blubber to keep warm while swimming in the Arctic Oceans. Their flukes of their back also help them keep balance to themselves.
