After Lauren her hand got fixed, the doctor told her she needed to come back in three weeks time. They were standing outside when they heard a loud bang.

"What the heck was that!" Klaus yelled. We ran off to were the sound came from.

Klaus and I saw a black cloud of smoke coming from a car. A few meters further there was another car that didn't look to well either, only there was no smoke coming from it.

There were a few bystanders who had taken the people out of the smoking car. A woman stumbled out of the other car with blood all over her and her arm looked broken. With her arm that seemed to be okay she carried something out the car. An elder woman ran of to help her when she saw the baby in her arms. From what I could see the wounded woman was crying and sobbing, while the baby didn't make a sound. ~Oh no, the baby seems to be dead due to the accident~, I thought to myself and began feeling sad for the loss of the woman.

The medics were coming out of the hospital behind us. The crowd made place for them and the medics took the woman, her baby and two other guys inside. In the distance you could see policecars and firetrucks coming. When they arrived the police officers immediatly started interrogating the bystanders.

We saw one coming our way.

"Hello, miss... and mister..." he said, kind of asking our names. He looked to be in his mid-forties and had a fatherly look in his eyes.

"Klaus Sobrow" Klaus answered, while I said "Lauren Rivers"

"Well, have you seen the accident happen. Who crashed who? How did it happen? Was one of the two drivers distracted by someone or something?"

"Sorry, Sir. We only just got outside the hospital." Klaus answered

"It's nothing. From what I can see there are enough people to get a clue. May I ask why you were in the hospital and not on school?"

"A little accident happened and I broke my hand with my clumsiness." I lied a little. Who knew what would happen when I said to the officer someone attacked me? The bullying would only get worse and I wouldn't survive to see school and the bullying ending. I shivered at the thoughts.

Klaus seemed to notice my shivering and gave me his jacket while looking at me with a knowing look. Oy, yes I forgot he was there and knew the thruth.

"And the principal asked me to bring Lauren to the hospital." He lied, playing my game with me. I felt so horrible for lying to the officer.

"See that you get home safe. And here is my number, iff you remember something please give me a call."

"We will do," Klaus and I answered at the same time. "By." and we went further.

"Lauren, I need to ask you something." Klaus said or is asked more in place?

"Of course you can" I said while looking at the cars that passed by. After our visit at the hospital, we were back in the car. We decided we wouldn't go back to school. the visit to the hospital took longer then we tought.

When I was a little zoned out, Klaus had turned right into the woods next to the driveway.

"Lauren, Lauren, Lauren, ..."

Suddenly I became aware of my surroundings and Klaus calling my name.

"Yes, yes, you have my full attention." I answered him.

"I want to show you something."

"Oh, okay." I couldn't help myself and ask "What do you wanna show me?"

"Well now, that is something I am not going to tell you." He said while stepping out of my car. I watched him coming to my side of the car and opening my door.

"Just being a gentleman so I don't keep nagging you about where we are going."

I got out of the car and we went of into the woods.

After a good hour of walking, me huffing because it took so long and Klaus grumbling because I was a little to slow for his liking, we finally arrived.

It was in one word 'Magical'. There were flowers almost everywhere and where they were not, there was a beautifull lake. Like the ones you hear in fairytales.

When I was admiring the magical lake, Klaus had sat down. I went to sit next to him.

"What did you want to say?" I asked him, it seemed he needed a litlle encouragement.

"I don't know were to begin..." he said.

"Then begin with the beginning." Seriously, did I have to say that? Couldn't you keep your mouth shut? Just awesome, now I am talking to myself.

"I will do that." I could drown in his eyes...

He turned to me and took my hands in his big, warm ones.

"Lauren,

you are my mate."

I know, I know, it is long ago since I updated. But hey, here it is, never think I have abandoned my (few) readers.

And have you read my note in the second chapter? If yes, is there really nothing you have to say about the story?

P.s. If you know a good book, someone elses or that of your own, leave a comment in this story, NOT on my page, and I will try to read it.

Till next time my dear readers.
