Chapter 3:what has Riley done

Charlotte opened her laptop and logged into her Facebook before flipping her laptop to me.

Looking at the screen my heart began to beat, my hands began to shake and my eyes began to water.

"Justine? Are you okay?"

Ignoring her I watched the video of Riley and Chantel Dane kissing at Rebecca small's big summer ending party.

Chantell has always "loved" Riley so she says. But Riley loves me or Loved now.

Tears rolled down my cheek. There was more. Pictures of the two and everything.

I shut the laptop and stared into space.

I understood now. Why he didn't pick me up. Why he didn't answer my calls an messages. Why he didn't call back. Why he was soo TENSE!

"I'm so sorry Justine. I thought yu knew. I thought.."

"It's fine Charlotte. I think I'm going to go home now."

"You want a lift?? I could ask my mom if...."

"It's fine."

I looked at her.

"Thank you so much" I hugged her before leaving the room I ran down the stairs wiping my eyes and left.

I walked down the street with only one thing on my mind. Riley.

Why'd he do this. My mind was running so much my head hurt. I didn't know what to do.

I walked through the park and sat down on a small bench looking at the near by river ahead of me. I was so lost I didn't notice someone had sat down next to me. Until they spoke.

"Hey, are you okay? You look a little lost"

His voice was so soft and gentle. A small smile appeared on my face as he spoke.

I sniffed a little " I'm fine" I took a look at who I was talking to.

The first thing that caught my eye was his eyes, he had light brown eyes which I instantly fell in love with. His hair was cut and had a curly high-top. He had brown skin to match his eyes and a great body.

"You sure" he asked with a slight smile.

His smile was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.

I smiled wider "yeah, I'm sure"

"Good. I'm Jordan" he held his hand out

"Justine" I said shaking his hand. I looked at him a little more. "You look familiar"

He chuckled "we have math together and French"

"Yeahhh!! you look so different"

"I decided to upgrade my look, new hair cut, new clothes. Just something different."

I looked him up and down nodding in approval.

"Nice upgrade"

He laughed" thanks?"

I smiled some more. His laugh was cute.

"Well it's getting late I best get home"

"Ahh me too...." He paused "how far do you live??"

Raising my brow slightly "just a few blocks away....why do you ask?"

"Thought I be a gentleman and Walk a beautiful lady home"

"Gentleman? I like that. Alright sure" I smiled

"Your smiles is beautiful"

I blushed a little. "comon"

We both began to walk down the quiet street.

"Soo how come I've hardly seen you around??" I asked

"I was very... lowkey in school. Always in the books. I didn't like to stand out a lot"

"Probably why I never really noticed you"

His face changed expression to a sad look.

"....But this 'upgrade' has really complimented your features."

"Thanks" he smiled. "Sooo what's a pretty girl like you doing alone? you ganna tell me what the matter Was?"

I looked down " eh. I don't really wanna talk about it .... sorry"

He smiled softly "it's fine. I understand"

I looked up an realised we were at my house.

"This is my stop, thanks for walking me I needed it someone new to talk too. I can't believe we've never spoken before, your actually a great guy."

He smiled wider now, which allowed his dimple to escape from his left cheek

"Thanks, not to bad your self"

I chuckled

"I'm always here if you want to talk...maybe tonight?"

I smirked "your phone?"

He handed me it and I entered my number saving it as 'Justine 💍💎💙' before handing it back.

I walked to my door and unlocked it before looking back at him.

"Tonight?" I asked

"Defiantly" he responded with a wide grin.

"See you around Jordan" I smiled and entered my home.

After Jordan walked me home, I went to my room and thought for a moment.

Why didn't he tell me him self.

He's going to tell me.
