Chapter 14: another chance.

I woke up next to Bahja who was knocked out. She slept peacefully and looked so cute with her messy bun. I watched her sleep for a while before kissing her cheek and sliding out of the bed. I unhooked my robe and put on my slipper socks before going down Stairs, I went to check on Riley but was shocked to see he had left. I smiled though. He folded the blanket and washed out mugs, this was the Riley I loved. He left me a note

"Justine, I didn't want to wake the sleeping beauty so I left you a note in stead. Just wanted to say thanks for understanding and making me happy again. Thank you the second chance. I want us to meet tonight I'll pick you up at around 7"

I was shocked. where was he taking me?

A small smile appeared on my face. I didn't know whether I was falling for him again.

I heard footsteps and quickly hid the note behind the couch pillow.

I couldn't let Bahja know about this. She'd be heartbroken especially after last night, I love Bahja FORREAL but Riley always had me hooked.

"Hey baby" she said grinning her freshly brushed teeth and sitting on my lap.

I smiled and pecked her lips.

"Goodmorning babe" I greeted.

"What do you want for breakfast babe?"

"Oh you don't have to do that B"

"I'll just surprise you then" she smiled before sliding off my lap and pecking my Lips. Inches away from my face"i was wondering if we could go out to dinner tonight" she suggested.

"Tonight?"

She nodded

"Ahhh babe I'm sorry I can't do tonight. I uh promised charlotte id meet her to help her with some presentation thing"

"Oh maybe I could come"

"NO! I mean. She's kinda shy at the moment"

She nodded suspiciously before strolling to the kitchen.

I checked if the coast was clear before retrieving the note and I reading it over and over. I don't know why but it made me smile. It made me feel as if he was actually trying again with us. I smiled one last time before folding it and tucking it into my bra.
I ran upstairs and decided to take a shower and freshen up.

BAHJAS POV

I was cooking me and Justine a big breakfast with fresh scrabbled eggs, bacon, pork sausages, pancakes, beans and orange juice. I was in a good mood this morning, last night made me realise I was in love. That I had found the right one. I was happy again!

I plated up the food and set it on the table, washed up the dishes and cleaned up the cooking mess I had made.

"JUSTINE" I called.

"Coming B"

I really wanted to surprise Justine but I guess charlotte can steal her today.

I heard footsteps running towards the kitchen.

"Mmmmmm babe it smells good" she complimented kissing my cheek

I smiled and blushed. She looked so cute. Her hair was tangled in wet ringlet curls dew to her shower. She wore black leather shorts with a puma jumper and odd socks. She noticed me staring and chuckled sitting down.

I sat opposite her "well dig in"
We both enjoyed our breakfast and were stuffed.

RILEY POV

I was planning a special night for me and Justine. I wanted to make up for the hurt I caused her. I love Justine and nothing's going to change that.

I wanted it to be Romantic and peaceful so we could just talk about life.

I want her back but I had to prove to her I love her, Ive finally proved it to myself.

It was 5 so I decided to text her.

"Candle lit dinner. You know what to wear ;). I'll be there at 7-RILEY"

"7 is good :) " -Justine

"Great" I put my phone on charge and proceeded to get ready.

I decide to go with a black & purple theme Justine's favourite colour, purple.

I wore a jet black shirt with a dark purple bow tie coating myself with a matching black bomber jacket. I wore black true religion jeans along with my black and purple Jordan retros. I let my gel sit in my hair setting the "s" curls and sprayed my famous cologne.

It was 6 so I made sure everything was set by calling my helper.

Justine POV

"Bye baby I'll see you tomorrow okay?" Bahja asked.

"Tomorrow it is baby" with my arms around her waist. I kissed her once more squeezing her little butt before letting her leave.

It was only 5 so I decided to have a bath to set the mood for a candle lit dinner. I set the bath and put candles around it to relax.

I set my alarm for 5:45 and put on my "throwback" playlist. Playing Ashanti in the background I layed in my bath relaxed looking forward to tonight.
