CHAPTER SEVEN "WHERE YOU GOING CAPTAIN?"
Meliodas fixes up his clothes while standing up. He looks back at Ban who asked him said question. "I got a date." he said in a cool tone, getting mixed reactions from each of his teammates. Beside him, was Merlin who raised a brow at his response. "A date?" she asks, curiously.
The giant of the hour, Diane, slams her fist on the ground in anger.
"A DATE?!"
Ban slung his arm around Meliodas's shoulder with a goofy grin. "Aww, Captain finally giving love a shot?" Meliodas flicks Ban's forehead making him wince. "Correction, I have a play date."
"Playdate with the princesses, I presume?" Escanor asked in his normal, proud voice.
"Of course."
King walks up to Meliodas with his arms crossed under his chest. "The princess's new friend? You've been spending a lot of time with them lately..."
"Whatever do you mean?"
"I mean ever since she came here, you've been playing with her and the princess." Ban said, crossing his arms. "Did you know her awhile back or something?"
Meliodas shakes his head, placing his finger on his chin, getting lost in thought. "I mean she reminds me of an old friend from long ago. Plus she made me promise to come and a promise is a promise."
"Then I'm coming too." Meliodas glances at his white haired teammate, surprised. "I like the little rat so I'll tag along." Ban smirks.
"If the Captain's going, I'll go too!" Diane chimes, her foul mood vanishing.
"I-I'll come too." King stutters, "Only because of Captain that is." His lie was seen through his teammates as it was obvious he wanted to the little black bean himself.
"I guess I'll tag along," Merlin hums, "This might be interesting."
"I as well will come and I assume Escanor will tag along as well," Gowther said with Escanor nodding in agreement. "He is correct."
Meliodas facepalms, "Alright..." he points to the gates. "She made a little picnic just outside the castle, a few knights are watching her and Elizabeth so we should get going."
"Does a little girl like her know how to even make a picnic?" King asks, doubt dripping from his words.
"Probably brunt the food or something." Ban chuckles.
