Mike turns to face Zoe, ready with another witty remark when he takes in her face. She'd removed the mask, revealing round lips...next to a scar shaped like a seven going from the edge of her nose to the center of her chin, passing through the corner of her lip.
"Or do we?" Zoe says in a harsher tone, turning away. Mike finds himself removing his own mask, though he did not hold any physical scarring there.
"What happened?" He asks.
Zoe tosses him a canteen. "Drink," she says before sitting on a beat up beanbag. He takes up residence on a destroyed - yet still usable - couch as she begins to talk.
