The Girl with a Blue Eye

Just a Nightmare...?

(Melody's P.O.V)

Where...am...I? It's so dark in here. I can't see anything. Maybe I should try making a fire again...Nah. I'm too lazy and tired to do it. Maybe someone can help me.

"Hello." I call out.No answer.

"Hello?" No answer.

"Can anyone hear me?"

"I can," A voice calls out.

"Hello?" I call out.

"Over here," said the voice. I follow the sound of the voice until I came by a cage. Inside of the cage is a girl.

"Hello," I said to the girl. She looks about my age, maybe older.

"Hello Melody," she answers. "It is so nice to finally meet you." She is looking at the ground, so it's quite difficult to see her face.

"How do you-" I start before she interrupts me.

"Know your name?" She asks, before giggling. "I know everything about you, Melody."

I'll admit, this girl is creepy as heck. But I continue to talk to her.

"Everything?"

She nods. Then she starts laughing. A maniac laugh. She grabs the bars of her cage and looks at me. Black blood was in her eyes and oozes out to her face. I step away from her.

"What's wrong?" She asks me, somehow amuse seeing me so terrified. "Don't you think it's rude to walk away from me?"

"Who are you?" I ask, ignoring her question.

She chuckles before answering. "I'm Maddie. Your negative feelings."

"How can you be my negative feelings?"

"I'm more of a place holder of your negativity. Whenever you are angry, sad, jealous, etc, all that negativity goes to me."

Her dark brown hair gently jiggles as Maddie laughs. I never thought that I would place all the negativity to her. Not going to lie, I feel bad for doing that to her.

"I'm sorry..." I said. She looks at me, confuse.

"I'm sorry for putting all the negativity in you. I didn't even know I can do that. I'm sorry."

She smirks at me. "You are apologizing? Why? You should be sighing in relief that I'm helping you."

"Helping me?"

"Of course! All you need to do is to let me out of the cage..."

I hesitate. I doubt this girl wants to help me. "May I ask why?"

"So that....I can help you!"

"Heh...Or is it something else, Maddie? What is your main reason you want to get out?"

"Welp, I tried to help you...But it looks like you don't need any help," She chuckles. "Don't come back here unless you want my help."

She starts to laugh as I hear screams. Are they from the outside? Screams became more louder. I quickly ran away from Maddie.

"See you soon..."

I woke up from my nightmare. I look around. Everyone is still asleep. I sigh in relief. It was just a nightmare.....right?
