***Jenna's POV***

'Why is he so pretty?' I sighed as we waited in line.

'Because he sold his soul to the devil,' Rebecca rolled her eyes in reply.

I shook my head at her and continued to stare at my phone screen, displaying Michael's selfie.

'Next order!' The cashier called.

'Hi yeah, I'll have a large chicken nugget meal please!' I beamed at her.

'Drink?' She raised her eyebrows.

'Oasis,' I answered.

'Okay, that's five pounds fifty please,' she looked up from the till.

'Oh um here,' I opened my purse, searching for my money.

'Five fifty please,' she repeated with a heavy sigh.

'I had ten pounds in here I don't know where it's gone,' I said, rooting round in my purse tears burning in my eyes.

'Okay, I'm gonna have to cancel your order, come back when you have money,' she shook her head, her eyes already sliding past me to the next customer.

'Hi yeah I'll have a cheeseburger meal with a coke and whatever the pretty crying girl over there just ordered,' a voice spoke behind me as I shuffled away.

I looked up and he smiled, beckoning me back over.

'Um oh um,' the cashier stammered.

'Why don't you remind her of your order, she seems to have forgotten,' he smiled sweetly at me.

I repeated my order to the stunned cashier. She informed the guy of the price and he handed the money over, winking at me when she handed the change back in a dazed silence.

'So, what happened to your money?' He asked as we waited for our food.

'I don't know it was in there when I walked in and now its gone and I can't even afford McDonalds now,' I told him, the memory of a few minutes previous rushing back to me and causing me to panic slightly.

'Hey its okay, don't worry, I got you,' he wrapped am arm round my shoulder.

'I have to pay you back!' I shook my head as he grabbed the tray with our food on.

'Well, maybe I could get your number and I'll text you to arrange a time for that to happen?' He smiled.

I recited my number as he typed it into his phone.

'Well sweetie, I have to go, my band awaits but I will text you and you better enjoy your food!' He grinned, grabbing his food from the tray that he had shoved into my hands when he requested my number.

***Michael's POV***

'Hey why are you so happy?' Luke asked as I climbed back in the van.

'I have food,' I shrugged, settling into my seat and waving the bag at him.

'Shut up, you're never this happy this early,' Calum snatched the bag of McDonald's from me.

'Its a girl, Michael met a girl!' Ashton crowed.

'Shut up. Give me my food back,' I snapped, snatching the food back.

'So what's her name?' Luke asked as I ate.

I stared at him as I realised I didn't know her name.

'I don't know,' I responded.

'What seriously?' Ashton laughed.

'I have her number, just not her name,' I replied, sighing as I leant my head against the window.

'Well, tell us how you two met! Was it love at first mcflurry?' Ashton nudged me.

***Jenna's POV***

I eventually found Rebecca and sat down in front of her.

'You won't believe what happened!' I gasped, cutting off what she was going to say.

'I lost my money so I was upset and couldn't buy my food and then this really cute guy bought my food for me and then he asked for my number and it was like some kind of romance novel,' I explained excitedly.

'Jenna,' she said slowly.

'Yeah?'

'The guy,' she looked me dead in the eyes.

'The one who bought me food?' I asked, confused.

'Jenna, the guy who bought you food and asked for your number,' she continued.

'What about him?'

'Jenna, that guy was Michael Clifford. How did you not recognise him?"

"I was panicking so much. Michael has my number?"
