***Jenna's POV***

"I'm not pretty, I'm hot - Michael"

"Yeah but you're pretty tho - Jenna"

"Shut up no I'm not - Michael"

"As your girlfriend I insist you accept the title of prince of pretty - Jenna"

"Why am I not king? - Michael"

"Have you seen Harry Styles? - Jenna"

"Currently staring at him across the table - Michael"

"Okay so you understand then - Jenna"

"Wait what - Jenna"

"Did you forget about the TOUR I AM ON - Michael"

"Also I see your point - Michael"

'Will you put your bloody phone down and concentrate on what we are talking about?' My mother snapped, snapping her fingers between my phone and face.
'Mum, I've been at work for the past five hours, can I not just have half an hour to text my boyfriend without you wanting me to engage in family discussions?' I looked up, rolling my eyes as she sighed in exasperation.
'I wanted to talk to you about him,' she said meekly, already sensing my impending explosion of irritation.
'Yes I am sure he's the best thing for me right now, yes I know I have exams but really, I barely see him because I'm at work and he's also at work so really it's as if we're not together. But we are. So it's all fine, he and I both know how important all that shit is,' I smiled, anger already building.
'Are you really sure though? This year is the most important year of your life, you need to get to university,' she persisted.
'Mum, you said that about my GCSEs and look how well they went. I'll be fine. He's in London when my exams are on, which means no worrying about staying up late, I don't have to worry meaning you don't have to worry,' I groaned.
This was the sixth time since Michael and I finally got together a week ago that we had had this conversation.
'Plus, you don't seem to mind me working all fucking weekend,' I snapped, ending the conversation as I exited the room.

###

"So pretty boy, when are you coming to see me? - Jenna"

"Well princess, I was thinking maybe next weekend? - Michael"

"I don't believe I'm working so yeah sounds good - Jenna"

"Do you have a proper real life job? - Michael"

"Yeah I'm a proper adult me - Jenna"

"You're not an adult though, you're only 17 - Michael"

"Shut up - Jenna"

"Make me - Michael"

'Come on, we're going to the nearest Apple Store,' Michael tugged my hand as we got out of the car in Manchester.
'But clothes,' I sighed as we began to navigate the streets.
'Nope, Apple Store,' he shook his head, pulling me along.
'Slow down and tell me why,' I squeezed his hand, jogging slightly to keep up.
'Oh we're buying you an iPhone,' he stated calmly, slowing to my walking speed.
'Oh hell no,' I stopped completely, dragging him to a halt and causing a few angry shoppers to grumble and barge past us.
'Hell yes, that way we can FaceTime and I can add you to my contract thing so that you get unlimited internet,' he nodded excitedly.
'Will you let me pay for it?' I asked, tempted by the offer.
'You can buy the case,' he offered with a smile.
'It's way too much money Mikey, I refuse.'
'You called me Mikey, how cute,' he grinned, wrapping his arm round my waist and leaning to kiss me.
'Michael you're not buying the iPhone,' I shook my head with a laugh as he pulled back from the kiss.
'What if it's only the five c?' He raised his eyebrows, beginning to walk towards the Apple Store.
'You were not going to buy me an iPhone six?' I exclaimed, running after him.
'Of course I was,' he rolled his eyes, taking my hand as I caught up.
'Silly boy,' I shook my head.
'Will you please let me buy you an iPhone?' He asked, batting his lashes as we stood outside.
'Fine, but I'm paying for the extra stuff,' I relented, knowing it was pointless to continue arguing.
'Hiiiiiii what can I get you today?' The over enthusiastic worker approached.

'Oh my god I am boooooooored,' Michael whined from outside the changing room.
'You're the one who insisted we came shopping,' I retorted from inside the room.
'Luke said it would be a good idea,' he grumbled as I exited the room in a tartan skirt and black bandeau since the top I was already wearing totally did not match the skirt.
'And Luke was right, please buy this skirt,' his face lit up, making me giggle.
'I'm not sure it's a bit short,' I shrugged, turning to look at the back of my legs in the mirror.
Michael's face took on a look of pure horror and he shook his head violently, 'Noooo baby it looks amazing, plus you can always wear it with tights!'
'I dunno, twenty quid is a lot for a skirt. Plus I already have like six sets of underwear to buy.'
'I'm still mad you wouldn't show me the underwear,' he muttered, glaring playfully at me.
'Has to be a surprise when you finally see it,' I grinned, going back into the changing room.
'Are you gonna buy the skirt? I'll buy it for you if you want?' He called, shaking the curtain.
'You're not spending anymore money,' I replied.
'Dude, I bought you an iPhone. A twenty quid skirt is nothing.'
'Exactly, you bought me an iPhone, no more money.'
'But this skirt will also benefit me because I can appreciate your fine physique in it,' he sighed, stamping his foot.
'Michael, I said no and I mean it,' I told him firmly. 'I'm going to buy it instead of the black underwear I was going to buy for under my work clothes. We've been together two weeks and you've already bought me an iPhone. I won't allow this relationship to be controlled by who buys what.'
'I just like to spend money on you, it makes me happy,' he shrugged, a small frown on his face.
'I know sweetie but I just don't want to feel like I owe you something,' I kissed his cheek.

##

'Michael,' I groaned.
'What?' He replied, lifting his head from my stomach.
'Move over I'm gonna fall out of the bed,' I shoved him as he paused the film we were watching, my movements having no effect on him.
'So next on the list of ridiculously expensive presents is a double bed?' He grinned, sitting up and shuffling his body further towards the wall that ran along the right of my bed.
'Shut up,' I flicked his bare chest, cuddling into him to avoid falling off the edge of my bed.
'Never, can I press play again?' He kissed the top of my head with a laugh.
'Sure,' I nodded, resting my legs across the top of his thighs and my head on his chest.
'I can hear you breathing,' I commented a while later.
'Oh I do apologise,' he replied, shifting so my head was nearer his shoulder.
'You're so pale,' I sighed, resting my hand flat on his bare stomach.
'What?' He asked, putting his hand next to mine.
'Well considering I've never left the UK and I have more of a tan than you, you're super pale,' I explained, tracing hearts on his stomach.
'Yeah but I don't walk around topless do I?' He shook his head, booping my nose.
'No but you should,' I smiled, titling my head back to look at him.
'But then all the other girls would see,' he teased with a grin.
'As long as you don't kiss any of them I suppose I don't mind,' I smiled, ignoring his teasing.
'Is that so?' He laughed, kissing me briefly.
'It is,' I nodded, kissing him again.

##

'Just wait yeah?' Michael caught my hands in his as I tried to pull his sweats down.
'At least until your parents aren't in the next room?' He raised his eyebrows, kissing my forehead as I frowned.
'Don't you want me?' I asked, voice shaking.
'Of course I do, but do you really want to do it right this second?' He smiled softly, pulling me up the bed so we were face to face.
'Well you kinda killed the mood now,' I scowled.
'Are you a virgin?' He asked, causing me to blush violently.
'Exactly, so we're definitely not rushing into anything. We've only been together two weeks, just wait a bit longer okay baby?' He kissed the tip of my nose when I nodded.
'Stop being so nice,' I groaned.
