5.26pm. That's the time they took me away. 

It's winter, I think. Or Autumn. Either way, it's cold. 

They make us go out into the garden four times a day for 'Breathing Time', no matter what the weather.They don't wrap us up warm, or even give us any different clothing. I have two outfits, both exactly the same. A white shirt, a red cardigan and black trousers. 

I'm at a place called Sisters of Justice. It's some mental hospital where you get taken if anybody ever discovers that you are gay, or with the same gender romantically. 

You are probably wondering why I'm here, well, I guess you can work out half of the reason with simple logic. 

I'm Simon Snow. I'm seventeen, and bisexual. 

I told myself that I wouldn't let the disease hit me, that I'd keep it away. 

I told myself I wouldn't fall for it. I wouldn't fall for the nasty trick. But, I did. 

Now, I'm here. I'm here for the rest of my life. 

All because of him.
