I walked from the front room into the small hallway. I checked to see if Ethan was home from work yet, and found him alseep on his bed instead. He still had his jeans and work tee shirt on. I just left him alone and went on to my room.

I sat on my bed, and looked at my room. I had strung lights across my ceiling that made the floor of my room have a certain glow to it. I looked to my desk and found my laptop. I got up to grab it and sat down on one of my bean bag chairs.

I saw that on Tumblr, my dashboard had fandom blogs going on and on about Tyler Oakley and Troye Sivan, then Connor Franta posting beautiful, artsy hipster pictures, then more of my friend's blogs. I scrolled and scrolled for hours then realized it was around midnight, and wanted to take a shower.

I showered and plugged my phone into it's charger for the night, then turned on Spotify from my laptop and slowly drifted off to sleep as Fall Out Boy played quietly in the background of the silence in my room. Then I remembered...

My mind woke up instantaneously and it started racing the four hundred meter inside my head.

Jase almost kissed me.

We held hands today.

Did I like him?

I know he liked me.

What were the exact feelings?

Shiiiiiiitttt.

My mind would not shut up. I sealed my eyes shut and tried to block the questions from my mind, then I came to my final conclusion. I liked Jase, but I was in denial and pathetic. Really pathetic because it's illegal and wrong and just pathetic. Pathetic because he likes me, but when he gets to really know me, he'll realize he doesn't want a different girl, he'll want a plastic Barbie doll. He won't like a different, weird, or quirky girl. I'm not shy, but I'm not a bad girl either. I'm just brave and in love with Fall Out Boy.

You're pathetic is what you really are Ty,

My mind paced.

Just shut up and go to sleep, you pathetic idiot!

Shut up. Shut Up! SHUT UP!!!

I finally fell asleep after about an hour of shutting up my brain and the next morning I woke up tired and a bit later than I wanted. But I quickly got dressed in my uniform and Chuck Taylors, grabbed my black hoodie and ran out the door. I started walking towards school, which I didn't do very often, because physical activity? Ew.

But once in a while I figure since I live just a mile away from school, walking won't be that bad and I would be saving my brother some gas, time, and money.

$**$**$

When I walked into school, I heard quiet snickering as I walked past the other people. Some were laughing and some were giving dirty looks but I just ignored them. As I walked to my locker, some brunette came up to me.

"Hey, it's Tylee right?"

I shot her daggers. The same brunette from the bathtub yesterday was way taller than me, and had tons of makeup on. Her curls bounced beside her shoulders when she flipped her hair back, and she spoke again.

"I guess not. So, are you, like, Jase's little sister or something?"

I snickered,"Oh please."

"Okay? Correct me if I'm wrong."

"Okay, let's see... My name's Tyler, and I'm not Jase's little sister."

"You just tell yourself that. I know something you don't," she smirked.
