"Why did you change your mind?"
He shrugged and scratched the back of his head nervously.
"What's been up with you lately? Ever since I got back this afternoon, you've been acting really weird." He stayed silent and shoved his hands in his pockets nervously. "Oh my God, stop it!"
"Stop what?"
"Acting weird!"
"I'm not acting weird."
"Then how are you acting because your body language is confusing me."
He smirked and shook his head."You don't know how dirty that sounded just now."
I thought about it, then made a sour face,"You idiot!"
"Hey, you got the joke obviously."
"Ugh, whatever. Why am I still standing." I sat down on my bed, because I was too lazy to stand up.
Jase sat down next to me. He stared at me awkwardly, like he wanted to say something but then quickly looked away.
"Stop it, or I will never speak to you again."
"That might be the easiest route." All signs of his playfulness were erased in a moment.
"What are you talking about?"
He smacked his forehead with his palm,"You are the new definition of a Dumb Blonde."
"Hey, that's offensive and I'm smart when I wanna be."
"Sure," he was finally smirking now. I could tell almost everything was back to normal; whatever that was.
I laid back in my bed and sighed.
"I'm bored."
"Then let's get outta this stuffy room and go have some fun."
"Okay...." I said uneasily.
"Get dressed in something hot."
"Excuse me!? You do not tell me what to wear and when to wear it," I folded my arms across my chest.
"Fine. Just be ready in ten minutes."
"Fine, just get out first."
He held up his hands in defense, and left, shutting the door behind him.
I recalled that he said 'something hot' and quickly slipped on a white strapless top with lace ruffles on the top, and a pair of highwaisted shorts with rips on the pockets. I pulled my hair up in a high ponytail so you could see my shoulders, and put on a few plastic bracelets. I decided not to take out my cartilage piercings, but put in some pink and blue feather extensions. I applied some light makeup and by this time, I was ready.
I walked into the living room announcing,"I'm ready. Now, where are we going?" We walked out the door.
"Somewhere on earth."
I rolled my eyes, and got in the red slug bug.
20 Minutes Later....
We pulled up to a giant house that had music blasting from the inside and couples making out in the front yard.
I got out of the car.
"A party?" I folded my arms once more.
"Yep, and I think you'll have fun," he smirked.
I rolled my eyes."Okay, but I'm not dancing."
"You say that now..." he drifts off smirking wider, revealing a small dimple in his right cheek.
