————Lynn's POV————
"WILLIAM!" I cried out as he fell unconscious.
I carried him bridal style, since he was too heavy to be on my back. And I had the rose in my mouth. I leapt from building to building and into the shattered window. I set him on the bed and awaited a nurse. The nurse walked in and gasped at the sight.
"What happened?!" She asked worried.
I explained her the whole situation and she explained what happened to William. I was grateful, and before she left the room I asked her which school we were at. Turns out, I'm in the right school. And, so is he. I was buried in an ocean of thoughts when...
"Lynn?" William had called.
I turned around and looked at him rubbing his eyes. I hugged him tightly.
"Is that normal, being attacked by a monster? And you overheating or whatever?" I asked curiously tilting my head to the side.
"Yep." He yawned stretching his arms out and then rubbing his eyes.
"Well, now it's class time." He announced.
"Awww Okay..." I responded with a huff crossing my arms childishly.
He got up and took your hand pulling you to who knows where. I just let him drag you, since I was a lazy person and didn't know where I was going. I got a bunch of weird stares from people in different classes. But we got down to the main floor which you guessed was where the office was.
"Are we there yet?" I asked annoyingly, looking at the pale plastered wall. Wonder if I could blend in with that... I thought bored but finally William opened a door dragging me in the office, I supposed. William and I, bowed to the principal and spoke with him about the incident. He took a look at the rose and gasped.
"Where did you get this." He demanded sternly.
"U-Uh... my bathroom this morning...? But, my mom said something about the rose she said never let it go.—when she died..." I stammered out.
William was wide-eyed and patted my head to comfort me. The principal dismissed us, I left with a guide for school. And a suspicious feeling in my stomach, also confusion... fear, and sorrow. We had different classes, so we decided to meet up after at the water fountain. I walked to my class and when I walked in...
"DAMN YOU!! GET OVER HERE AND FIGHT ME!!!" An unknown voice yelled. It startled me so much that I yelped. Everybody turned to stare at me, and I hid behind the door.
"You alright?" Another unknown voice asked. I turned around and looked at her, dangling the one who had been yelling by the neck unconscious. I screamed and ran to hide under a desk, unfortunately I tripped and fell on somebody.
"Damnit. Watch it Rosey!" A deep voice grumbled.
"R-r-r-right... I'm s-s-sorry...!" I got up and held my hand out to the black haired male who just smacked my hand away.
"Chase! Don't be so rude to the poor thing!!" Another voice scolded. He was a red head with big round glasses and freckles. He got up from his desk and held my hands.
"So, what's your name, Rosey?" He asked ecstatically.
"Lynn, Lynn Crotchet." I said confused at the nickname.
"I am Gray, Gray Vetro. Nice to meet you, Rosey." He smirked.
"You're too innocent to smirk." I snickered.
"Hey...! It's not like your any better!" He pouted.
————William's POV————
As we parted ways, I began to walk to my class. It was filled with warlocks and witches, it was pandemonium. Potions were everywhere and spells were being cast... PERFECT! I love chaotic classes, though I may seem like a calm person, I can be rowdy. I glanced around the room in awe at all the different witches, and warlocks each with a different level of magic. AMAZING! Though it's too bad that Lynn is not in my class... welp she is missing out! I thought, as I walked to my desk.
"Help! Turn me back! Please!" A small voice cried. I looked down on my desk revealing a bug sized teacher.
"Ah, so that's why the class is So—"Crazy, yes. NOW TURN ME BACK!" He yelled, though I couldn't help but stifle laughter. As I raised my wand, he grew in size, and he handled the class properly. It wasn't pandemonium anymore, which kind of disappointed me, but I was fine about it. I heard a few people grumbling about me turning the teacher back but I just scoffed at their immaturity, assuming they did this.
After a while I turned to my side and started up a conversation with a girl named Abigail.
"So uh... hello, I'm William." I said scratching my head nervously.
"Abigail. Nice to meet you, William." She stuck her hand out answering
I shook her hand and we talked about all kinds of things like favorite spells, goals, common things like that. And we ended up being friends! We were talking when the bell rang, signaling lunch period.
"See you, Abigail." I called as we parted ways, smiling to myself.
"See you too, William!" She hollered back cheerfully.
I walked to the table where Abigail was located and sat down as she greeted me. I love everything about this girl. She is everything I want and more... I heard a voice call my name, but it was faint and I couldn't pinpoint who it was. I ignored it listening to Abigail's conversation. The voice sighed and walked away. I turned around to see Lynn sitting alone, I was getting ready to get up and walk over. But I slumped lower in my seat when another elf had sat down beside her dragging another by the arm. She was in the middle, I could tell she looked awkward. Though I just turned back to the conversation.
