Chapter One

Jungkook Focus (present)

I looked at the .45 in my hand. It was the very same one I shot with my father as a kid. It was old, but it did its job well. Never stopped working. It was my favorite gun. "We're almost there." Yoongi said beside me.

"K." I replied. I loaded a magazine into the pistol and stored six more in my jacket. It had special pockets on the inside that could conceal the ammo. I was ready to be done with the mission. Eager for the result of it. I wanted so badly to get what I wanted. I could feel his excitement bubbling in me.

See, in this town, there were four gangs. The Savagetooth gang, the Tiger gang, the Hemocalvo gang, and the Trijudong gang. I was a part of the Trijudongs. I was the leader, in fact. I heard rumors from some of the Tiger gang rogues that they were going to start a war, and I was somewhat friends with their leader. I wanted to make an alliance with them so I could finally destroy the Hemocalvos, and there was only one way to do that.

I had wanted revenge on the Hemocalvos for so long, and when he heard the rogues' rumors, I got excited. I could finally show the bastards what they deserved. There was only one problem though. I knew that the Tiger gang's leader would do anything to preserve his own gang, so it was extremely hard to gain his trust. If I wanted to earn that trust, I had to show that I was weaker than the leader and wanted his mercy. I had to give him a peace offering, prove to him that me and my own gang were not a threat.

Luckily, I knew the one thing that the Tiger gang leader wanted, and that was a boy. I didn't know who the boy was, nor did I care. The Savagetooth gang had that boy. I took something from the Hemocalvos a long time ago, only to find that they couldn't care less about it. The Savagetooths wanted it though. That thing I took was a boy named Jin. That was the hostage I had with me for the mission.

So that was my plan. Trade the Savagetooth gang the hostage for the boy they had, then offer up the boy to the Tiger gang and make an alliance. After that, wait to wage war against the others and finally get the revenge I deserved for what the Hemocalvos did.

I snapped out of my thoughts when the car Yoongi and I were in stopped and we climbed out eagerly. Out of two other cars, Hoseok, Minho, Jimin, and the hostage Jin tumbled out.

"Alright guys, so I had a quick change of plans." I said. "Oh come on! Are you calling the damn thing off now?" Jin complained. I glared at him. "If you don't shut up, I will shoot you somewhere painful." I said. Jin just swallowed and looked at the ground. I continued. "I want to see if we can walk out with both the new hostage and this one."

Everyone nodded their agreement to the orders and hid their guns in their jackets, ready to move out. Jin sunk to the floor, a tear rolling down his cheek. Looks like someone was excited to join the other gang. I thought, smirking. Yoongi walked over to the boy and grabbed him by the hands that were tied behind his back. "Get up." He said. "Jeon, do you wanna have him gagged so he doesn't spill to the other team?"

I nodded and tossed Yoongi a rag, then turned to the others. "I'll walk in first. You guys stay behind me, but not so closely to seem threatening. Yoongi, you bring the hostage with me. Make sure you hold that gun to his head."

Yoongi nodded and once he finished tying the gag around Jin's head, he pulled the boy up and forced him along with the two Trijudong gang members.

I walked out into the open space in an empty parking garage and waited for the other gang to arrive. A car drove into the area,  circling around me, Yoongi, and Jin, and then stopping in front of us. "Show offs." I muttered under my breath, rolling my eyes.

The leader of the Savagetooth gang, Namjoon, hopped out of the car and walked slowly toward Jungkook. His eyes widened a little when seeing Jin, but not enough to really be noticeable. I was just observant like that. Seemed like he really wanted this Jin boy.

Well too fucking bad.

"You're going to give me what was promised?" I asked, inserting a warning tone in my voice. Namjoon held his hand up and made a weird sign, and the door on the other side of the car opened. Another gang member hopped out, holding another boy tied up just like Jin.

The boy was small and had long blonde hair. He had soft looking lips and blue eyes that glared at everything he saw. Namjoon looked at me expectantly. "The boy?" He asked, nodding toward Jin. I shook my head. "At the same time."

Namjoon signalled the gang member to bring their hostage forth. Then he grabbed the boy and walked slowly toward me. I smirked and grabbed Jin from Yoongi, then brought him forth as well. We were so close- enough to have a quiet conversation and no one would hear. "I  would be careful with this one." Namjoon whispered. "He may look terrified, but he will fool you easily. Consider yourself warned."

I glared at him and shoved Jin into him. Namjoon shoved his hostage toward me, and we both walked away with the traded hostages. I walked back to my gang members, ready and waiting twenty feet away from the whole thing. They parted to make room for me.

I grinned evilly and waved his hand, and as soon as the first shot was made, all hell broke loose.
