Chapter 3: FlashBacks

**sonny's pov**

I did miss her. Fuck Ellie, Nay's the one I really wanted to stay with forever.

"Sonny..." she said in between the kiss. "I missed you too." Then soon pulled back. "I want to be with you" I said.

"But Ellie-" "Forget Ellie. You have my heart". She smiled wide. And kissed me again.

I woke up and saw her laying next to me, I got up and went to brush my teeth and comb through my hair.

I remember when we first met.

I sat in my classroom, tapping my pencil. I wasn't the type of 'cool kid'. But I was bullied, not the best way to spend your high school days.

Then after one of my daily beatings, I went down the hallway and a beautiful girl walked past me. She turned her head and winked at me.

I blushed hard, way hard.

Walking home, I saw her again. She came by me and gave me a random hug. "Hi little boy!" she said. "I'm 16". "Never mind. I'm only 15. So hello big boy!". Her voice was so cheerful

"Hey. I'm Sonny" I shyly said. "Nice to meet you Sonny. I'm Nay! Wanna hang sometime. How about now?!?" she asked. I nodded.

She pulled my arm and lead me to a giant house. I could see my house a few blocks down. She took me into a room, the walls were black with white dots. Then on the ceiling hung, ALIENS!

"I like you. Wanna go out?" she blurted. This has never happened to me before, it would take years just for me to ask someone out.

"I've never had a girlfriend before..." I played with my fingers. "So that's a no?" her happiness almost hit rock bottom. I nodded yes. "I do want to go out".

"YAY!" she yelled hugging me. She kissed my lips lightly. She took my first kiss, and I'm happy.

"I love you" I whispered. "I love you too" she beamed.

After a year of us dating, I've never been bullied. She stayed by my side keeping them away. And our 'I Love Yous' never got old.

Then on her 18th birthday, I was 19 and her mom was about to tell us a 'surprise'. Or at least I thought it was.

"We are moving to Italy!" she beamed. Nay and my giant smile, fell to the ground.

"I-italy?" Nay's voice cracked. "Yes, and we leave in two days!". Tears fell from my eyes and I ran into Nay's room.

"Sonny!" she ran in and comforted me. "B-but you're leaving me". I cried into her chest. "I'm so sorry. I don't wanna leave." "I'll miss you".

"C'mon Nay, start packing!" her mom yelled. Nay let go of me and started to fill her suitcase. I watched as boxes filled the room.

I stay at her house until the time arrived. She stayed in the middle of the empty house with me as her parents waited in the car.

"Sonny, it's time." She cried. "Please don't move away". "Baby, you know I would if I could. Listen. What I'm about to tell you will hurt me more than it'll hurt you."

"What?" I sniffled. Maybe it was some good news. "We have to break up... We'll never be able to contact each other. And... just remember I'll always love you".

She just broke up with me...

"I've gotta go" she had Niagara Falls coming from her eyes. She kissed me for what felt like forever and left the house.

The next day, I walked into the school. My eyes were bloodshot red. "Hey there crybaby". One my old bullies said. "Nay moved away..." I mumbled and walked away.

Around when I turned 23, that's when my DJ career took off and still to those days.

Nay never left my mind...
